The Lazzara 84 LMY is a superb 84-foot luxury motor yacht produced by iconic Florida-based Lazzara Yachts between 2006 and 2008. A modern evolution of its earlier sister ship, the 80 Open, the 84 is big, bold, and built for entertainment with an enormous flybridge, stunning social areas, and five plush staterooms. Still popular on the used and charter markets, this yacht remains an ideal choice for adventurous, contemporary owner-operators. A walkaround deck ensures safe and easy passage from cockpit to bow, with gleaming handrails to keep you and your guests steady. A mammoth swim platform can hold a jet tender, while the large transom garage has plenty of room to store all your other gear, such as fishing tackle and scuba gear. Portside steps lead up to the stunning aft cockpit, which features a long, curved settee, glossy teak dining table, and three additional chairs allowing you to serve six or more guests a delicious open-air meal. After dinner, you and your guests can make your way to the foredeck, where a large sunpad awaits.
The salon is awash with light and the calm tones of pecan wood paneling and furnishings. This is the perfect spot to receive your guests or wind down the evening with a digestif, thanks to several seating options, including a long portside sofa and two armchairs situated around a gorgeous coffee table. A further armchair with an ottoman seat sits to starboard, near a television built into a glorious pecan entertainment cabinet. Long, oval windows surround the space, making it particularly lovely at daybreak and sunset. Forward, you’ll find a more formal dining area, with a circular table and six dining chairs.
The galley and lower helm are located forward on the main deck, beyond the dining area and past two staircases, the first leading below deck and the other leading up to the bridge deck. The galley offers all the comforts of home and more, with full-size, top-of-the-line appliances, such as a French-door fridge-freezer with an icemaker, a built-in microwave, dishwasher, oven, cooktop, and ample cabinet storage throughout. A curved kitchen island with a large stainless-steel sink is the proverbial icing on the cake, allowing you or your chef to move about the space in comfort and with ease. Forward, a settee wraps around a circular dining table.
The helm is open to the galley, allowing guests to interact with the captain as they eat, but it is positioned far enough forward to be considered a separate space. This lower bridge, which is only available on the open bridge version of this yacht, is equipped with a NorthStar GPS and sounder, Simrad autopilot, Furuno Navtex, Simrad radar, and a Nobeltec chartplotter, navigation is a breeze.
Below deck, guests and owners will delight at the comfortable and elegance accommodation. The full-beam amidships owner’s suite features a king-sized bed with nightstands on either side, a loveseat beneath the portside hull window, cherry-veneered armoires to port and starboard, a spacious walk-in closet and a desk for catching up on your correspondence. The en suite bathroom is just as luxurious, with a marble vanity top and two undermount sinks, a Makore cherry cabinet with storage drawers, a medicine cabinet with a mirror, a toilet and a full-size, glass-enclosed tub with Jacuzzi feature and a shower with shower heads.
Two queen VIP suites to port and starboard feature corner storage cabinets, cedar-lined, mirrored hanging lockers, portlight windows, and en suite bathrooms. A further double guest suite can be found to port with a private bathroom, while a twin bunk suite – perfect for kids – is located at the bow and enjoys access to a shared day head. Crew quarters are accessed via the transom and are situated aft behind the engine room. This space features a double captain’s stateroom and a twin berth in the crew stateroom. Crew share a single head, which features a toilet, sink, and shower cubicle.
The open flybridge is sure to be social heart of the yacht, with sunlounges on the aft deck, a curved dining area, and a sumptuous starboard hot tub. Seating extends from the hot tub, snaking forward around a large dining table. To port, a full wet bar with three bar stools will get the party started and keep it going into the evening hours. The forward upper helm features two helm seats, NorthStar GPS, Simrad autopilot, speed/depth/compass multi-display, Simrad Radar, and a Nobeltec Visual Navigation Suite.
