The Lazzara 116 LMY is a superb 116-foot luxury motoryacht first launched by Florida-based yacht firm Lazzara Yachts in 2008. Available as an open bridge with an optional hardtop or a sky lounge cabriolet, the 116 LMY is a highly customizable and pleasing model that continues to captivate users on the used and charter markets.
Perfect for thrill-seekers and loungers alike, the 116 LMY has a generous swim platform capable of holding and launching a tender as ably as it helps swimmers to get in and out of the water. Two curving staircases on either side of the transom lead to a spacious circular dining table with a curving settee and additional chairs capable of seating eight or more people overall. This aft deck offers the best in outdoor living: a starboard wet bar that sits conveniently near the salon entrance, with three barstools and a drop-down television. Side decks lead to the commodious foredeck, which features a large sunpad with a wide backrest for establishing or maintaining your tan.
The stunning salon is the perfect place to receive – and impress – your guests, with dark wood accents and pale-toned furnishings that set a convivial and relaxed mood. Long side windows offer plenty of natural light and connect users to the elements, with a sociable L-shaped sofa, coffee table, and armchair to port. To starboard, a large wooden media unit elegantly houses widescreen TV with drawers and shelves for all manner of DVD players and game systems.
A forward dining table is the perfect spot for more formal meals, with seating for six. Plenty of sideboards and a buffet table offer space for serving or simply a place to show of your objets d’art. A discreet day sits behind the dining room. Between here and the forward galley sits a spacious utility room with a top-loading freezer and washer-dryer units with plenty of room for miscellaneous equipment. The galley itself, found forward, is a sight to behold. The central feature of this space is a large kitchen island with two sinks, while the main kitchen is a spacious L-shape that extends from aft to port. A large dinette seats six guests.
Up on the flybridge pilothouse captains will enjoy a centerline helm with two Stidd seats. Just aft of the helm, a seating area with a dining table offers guests the chance to interact with the captain. The open section of the bridge deck features chic wet bar with four barstools, dual electric grills, sink, icemaker, and refrigerator to port while a further dinette to starboard seats four guests around a teak table. Curvaceous sofas can be found further aft, with a nearby jacuzzi hot tub for soaking under the stars.
Below deck, the full-beam master suite features a large king-sized bed, portside desk, and a loveseat to starboard. The en suite bathroom is also full-beam, offering a buffer between the engine room and the owner’s suite proper and features two sinks, a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and a toilet. The bedroom has private access to a stunning study, where owners can catch up on work or finally write that novel.
A foyer from the owner’s suite leads to the guest accommodation, which features two VIP suites to port and starboard, each with their own en suite bathrooms. A fourth suite sits fully forward, and also enjoys an en suite head. The crew quarters are accessed via the transom or a stylish spiral staircase on the main deck, with a well-appointed captain’s stateroom complete with en suite, and two additional single crew staterooms with a shared head. Crew can unwind after a hard day’s work in the central crew lounge.
The 116 LMY is powered by twin MTU 2000 diesel engines with a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising of 26 knots.
