The Hatteras M75 Panacera is a 74-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that was launched by legendary North Carolina yacht-building firm Hatteras in 2017. Contemporary European styling with masses of glazing, cutaway gunwales and aerodynamic lines combines with a durable modified V-hull and powerful engines to produce one of the sleekest and swiftest yachts in its class. Looks and performance aren’t the only things this Hatteras have going for it, as the M75 Panacera boasts three sun decks and lavish interior entertaining spaces that deliver comfort, elegance and luxury in spades.
A hard-top canopy provides shades across the front half of the teak-lined flybridge, where you can socialize with your guests while lounging on an elongated U-shaped sofa to port. Sitting directly across from this is a walk-in wet-bar with marble-effect work surfaces, a trio of bar stools, an icemaker, a sink and chilled storage. To the rear of the bridge there is room to create a casbah-like sunlounge area, or alternatively you can install a heavy-duty tender davit for the storage and lifting of your water toys. Experienced captains, meanwhile, will love piloting this yacht from the bridge’s helm station, where Garmin touch-screen monitors, an engine display, a Furuno depth-sounder, a joystick, thruster controls and hydraulic steering await.
Down on the main deck you will enjoy a quiet afternoon reading a book or enjoying picnics out on the foredeck, where a triple sunpad built into the yacht’s super-structure is joined by a pair of curved side sofas. To the rear there is a shaded aft-cockpit with a transom dining sofa and table, as well as side steps down to a full-beam, fixed swimming platform from where you can dip your toes into the water.
Interior designs are subject to customization, though discerning buyers can choose between authentic materials such as grey oak, dark walnut and glossy mahogany to line their salon. You can expect U-shaped sofas, ottomans, hand-crafted coffee tables, wingchairs, bespoke cabinetry, a home entertainment system and stainless-steel accents across this space, as well as a formal dining setting for up to eight guests. Located ahead of the salon there is a country-kitchen galley with marble countertops, a ceramic hob, a combination oven, high-capacity fridge-freezer units and a dinette lounge. If you can live with a smaller galley, however, you can choose to turn this forward space into an on-deck owner’s stateroom, but either way, this dynamic space benefits from panoramic side windows and a double-height atrium ceiling with raised glazing.
Three en-suite double staterooms and a twin berth offer sleeping space on the lower-deck for up to eight guests, and each room benefits from widescreen hull windows, plush carpeting, cushioned wall panels and a restrained and sober feel that will softly seduce you to sleep. The pick of the rooms down here has to be the amidship master suite, which comes with a king-sized bed, a walk-in dressing room, a side sofa, plenty of storage and a large, timber-lined bathroom with a pair of sinks and a mosaic-tiled shower stall. There is also the option to fit a private crew quarters for two towards the rear of this yacht, should you require staff assistance.
No expense or effort has been spared in making the Hatteras M75 Panacera as seaworthy and as quick as it can be when voyaging in bluewater conditions. A proprietary, gel-coated convex hull with ABT fin stabilizers proves well balanced on the turn, while a pair of 1825MHP MTU 12V 2000 engines provide top speeds of up to 28 knots. You can also equip this yacht with twin CAT C32 ACERT 1925MHP diesels for increased speeds of up to 30 knots, with an efficient range of around 950 nautical miles when cruising at a leisurely 10 knots.
