The Galeon 450 HTC is a 45-foot luxury sports cruiser that was launched by the renowned Polish yacht-building firm Galeon in 2023. Designed in partnership with legendary naval stylist Tony Castro, this vessel is sleek, sporty and fun, with a signature Galeon look boasting plenty of faceted curves, expansive glazing and angular, aerodynamic lines. An aft-lounge with a beach club feel, a full-length sunroof over the salon, and exquisite accommodation combine with a rugged hull to make this the perfect option for summer voyages with the whole family.
Out on the foredeck there is a swish triple-width sunpad in cushioned, marine-grade upholstery and flip-up headrests, ideal for those who like to soak up the rays in genteel seclusion. The teak-lined aft-cockpit might look compact at first glance, but it features two fold-out bulwarks that transform into floating cocktail terraces and dive platforms to radically expand the space on offer back here. Add to a mix a full-beam hydraulic bathing platform that is robust enough to lower and lift tenders in and out of the water, and a stern-side wet-bar station with a sink and an outdoor grill, and this area begins to resemble a superyacht’s beach-club. Sliding glass doors into the main-deck salon, meanwhile, open fully up to establish a seamless connection between indoors and out, allowing those sat at an L-shaped transom sofa with an extending breakfast table the ability to converse with those inside.
Swooping half-moon windows and a retractable glazed sunroof give the salon a breezy and atmospheric vibe, while silver oak surrounds, metallic fixtures and dynamic strip lighting accentuate the stylish, contemporary feel in here. There’s a love-seat to port that is joined by a U-shaped dining sofa upon entry, while further forward there is an open galley with white countertops, a steel sink, a multi-zone hob, plenty of refrigeration and a microwave oven. A cushioned bench seat for two faces the starboard helm station, where you will enjoy immense visibility as well as Lenco trim-tab switches, hydraulic steering, an EVC screen, a Raymarine touch-screen monitor, a mounted high-speed compass and digital throttles.
On the lower-deck you can choose between a 3-stateroom, 2-head layout or a 2-cabin, 2-head layout with a bit more room to breathe and unwind. Rooms down here benefit from some of the most expansive hull glazing to be found on a yacht of this class, with single panes boasting cinema-screen dimensions. A lavish stateroom by the bow features a queen-bed, a side seat, a full-height closet and access to a plush bathroom with a shower stall. A full-beam master stateroom amidship boasts a chaise-longue, two capacious timber-lined closets, a work desk and a queen-sized island bed, along with a spa-like bathroom with a waterfall shower cubicle. If you are comfortable enough to sacrifice a bit of storage on this level then you can fit in an extra bunk berth with two Pullmans and a work desk to port.
Powered by twin 480HP Volvo Penta D6 diesel shaft-drives, you can anticipate top speeds in the mid-30 knot range with economical cruising speeds of around 24 knots. A dual fuel tank holding 450 combined gallons of diesel, meanwhile, should keep you cruising all weekend long with plenty left in reserve.
