The Galeon 390 HTC is a 39-foot sports cruiser yacht with a hard-top that was launched by Polish boat-building firm Galeon at the 2013 Dusseldorf Boat Show. This coupe-style yacht was designed in collaboration with renowned naval architect Tony Castro, who produced a striking, third-generation design with plenty of contemporary curves, modern glazing and an aerodynamic profile. Knife-insert windows across the hull sides, an electronic sunroof, hand-finished interiors and impeccable teak decking make this one of the most stylish Galeon Yacht models ever launched, while hi-tech piloting equipment and powerful engines ensure that this vessel is a joy to ride.
This is a yacht made for enjoying the great outdoors, and a double sunpad out on the foredeck provides the perfect place to soak up the rays and snap some Instagram photos. Towards the stern there is a full-beam bathing platform with a swimming ladder that connects to the aft-cockpit via a transom gate. In the teak-lined cockpit there is a transom sofa with a backrest that can be fully reclined to turn this into a stern-facing sunpad, as well room for a breakfast table.
The internal cockpit boasts sliding glass doors to the rear, cresting wave windows to the side and a fully glazed sunroof that opens up at the touch of a button, to give this space a sun-kissed and elemental feel. Surfaces in a range of authentic timbers and furnishings lined in plush leather offer a sophisticated feel, while a U-shaped sofa and a loveseat to aft surround an extending coffee table where you will enjoy many an afternoon aperitif. Further forward there is an open galley with Corian counter tops, a two-zone hob, under-counter fridge-freezer units and a combination oven, sitting across from the main helm station. Here you will discover Raymarine electronics, a Penta docking joystick, Side Power thruster controls and plenty of analogue instrumentation, as well as bench-style seating for two.
Three distinct cabins occupy the lower deck of this vessel, with a master stateroom to the bow featuring a queen-sized bed, a pair of hanging lockers, a skylight, porthole windows and plenty of hidden storage. A double cabin to aft with a full-height closet is joined by a single cabin, while a marble-effect Corian-lined bathroom to starboard sits across from an enclosed shower cubicle.
A pair of 225MHP Volvo Penta D4 stern-drive diesel engines provide top speeds of up to 38 knots, with cruising speeds of around 28 knots at half-load. This yacht will always be a pleasant ride thanks to a B-class, fiberglass planing hull that promotes balance, efficiency and stability across a range of water conditions.
