The Ferretti 920 is a 92-foot flybridge motor yacht, by far the largest vessel launched by the Italian shipyard at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival. A joint effort between Ferretti and Studio Zuccon International, the 920 is a seamless combination of innovative performance and exquisite style. Ferretti has taken great care to create a modern, forward looking classic with a traditional profile belies a wide-body superstructure and an enormous wraparound windshield on the pilothouse. The 920’s warped hull is designed for long cruises, perfect for summering in the south of France.
Ferretti has clearly devoted time and care to maximizing space on this boat, which emanates a sense of hospitality. The generous 564-foot flybridge comprises almost half the length of the yacht; the foredeck is also generously sized for a yacht of this class at 172 square feet. A large folding transom garage transforms into a swimming platform and can also double as a slipway for an option 13-foot jet tender. Four layout options are available for the flybridge, including an L-shaped wet bat, C-shaped sofa and table, a retractable hardtop, and a set of chaise longues. The aft section is open to the sun and elements but can be sheltered by sunshades if you choose.
The generosity of space outside continues into the interiors of the 920. The salon features sedate, stylish anthracite parquet flooring and rich brown wood with lacquer accents. A dining area accommodates up to eight guests who are sure to line up for a succulent meal prepared in the enclosed galley kitchen. Towards the bow you will find a breathtaking full-beam main-deck owner’s stateroom with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. Zuccon International’s design input is on full display here, with rich wood tones, marble accents, a mirror behind the bed, which has built-in nightstands, and a long, low-profile vanity table which faces one of two hullside windows. Two layout options for accommodation are available: a standard four-stateroom layout or an optional five-stateroom layout. On the four-stateroom layout, two double portside VIP staterooms are located below deck, each with an ensuite bathroom. A fourth stateroom with twin berths is situated across from the VIP staterooms.
Standard twin 12V 2000hp M96L MTU engines reach top speeds of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots. There are two other power options if you want more speed, from twin 16V 2000 M86 MTUs (max 28 knots, cruising 24 knots) to twin 16V 2000 M96 MTUs (max 30 knots, cruising 26 knots).
