The Ferretti 780 offers luxurious interior spaces, exciting outdoor entertainment options, and the performance you want from a flybridge cruising yacht. Whether hosting a dinner party or basking in the Caribbean sun with friends, the 780 Flybridge will keep everyone on board satisfied and feeling rejuvenated. The lower deck accommodations are spacious, offer en suite bathrooms, and more natural light below deck than her competition. This floating beach club is as close to home on the water as you can get.
The Ferretti 780 is a stunning 78.7-foot luxury flybridge motor yacht launched by the Italian shipyard in 2017. Launched at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival to great acclaim, the 780 is the result of a joint effort between Ferretti Group Engineering and Studio Zuccon International Project. The result is a sleek profile – thanks in part to enormous glass windows on the main deck, something of a signature for Ferretti – and state of the art performance with all the style and comfort of a lavish seaside villa.
A combination of successful features from recent popular models such as the 550, 700, and 850, the Ferretti 780 is a serene but sporty vessel perfect for entertaining. The spacious flybridge is a standout feature on this Ferretti yacht, with an optional Kevlar hardtop (glass skylights or bladed system for airflow are further options) or a standard roll bar that can be fitted with canvas shades. The double-seater helm station features a small table and two sofas that convert to sunpads depending on your mood. But the aft area, which offers a true megayacht-style beach club, is the showstopper on this yacht. Ferretti pulls this off masterfully by implementing a tailgate operating system: above the spacious swim platform two sections of the tailgate can be lowered together or separately and reveal two massive sunpads once the tailgate is opened. Built-in storage is located along the sides of the companionway and can be used to store Seabobs and other tech.
The main deck salon is furnished with superb Marden parquet and house-length windows that impart a refined and breathable sense of space. A sumptuous and convivial C-shaped Minotti-designed sofa that provides a natural but open division between the lounge area and the dining table, which sits up to 8-9 guests. Sideboards and accent tables available in range of finishes provide storage and elegant surfaces for décor, snacks, and drinks. Forward and behind a stylish bulkhead is a private cockpit area equipped with Naviop and Simrad touchscreens.
Plush, sedate accommodation for up to 8 guests can be found on the lower deck across four cabins, including a four-beam owner’s stateroom amidships, a VIP stateroom and two twin cabins. Two aft cabins are also available for crew members.
The 780 comes with standard twin Man 1,400hp diesel engines that reach a top speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of about 24 knots. The 1,500hp option provides a 27-knot cruise speed and maxes out at a swift 31-knots. Also standard is a Seakeeper gyro for maximum stability.
