The Ferretti 720 Flybridge became one of Ferretti's most popular contemporary styles when it first launched, combining a sexy exterior with a truly livable interior. Ferretti's are said to be designed from the inside out, meaning that the focus of the experience is centered around the enjoyment of each space. From the gorgeous flybridge that offers plenty of amenities for entertaining, to the gorgeous lower deck accommodations, the 720 FLY is one yacht truly designed for the boating enthusiast who wants the very best. Owners will also appreciate the Ferretti 720 Steer Command system, which reportedly can halve the yachts turning radius and control helm response!
The Ferretti 720 is a 73.2-foot luxury planing yacht that debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2019. Part beauty, part beast, this yacht is a perfect marriage of minimalist elegance with a family feel and full-throttle performance, the 720 is the brainchild of the Ferretti Group and naval architect Filippo Salvetti.
A hydraulic swimming platform with a spacious transom contains storage for two Seabobs or optional fold-down lounge. Stairs on either side lead up to the wide, walkable side-deck. On the foredeck, you’ll find a further lounge area with modular cushions and a small table, perfect for drinks or tapas.
The helmstation on the flybridge faces a full-beam sundeck with C-shaped seating that wraps around a folding dinette table. A bar area, grill, sink, and storage make this the perfect space for entertaining. A smaller aft area features free-standing, low-profile furniture for more intimate chats. The standard version of this model comes with a central radar arch with a retractable Bimini top, but there is an optional hardtop available.
On the main deck, the aft saloon seating area exudes a sense of unpretentious calm, with subtle recessed LED lights providing even, gentle illumination throughout. Take a single step up, and you’ll find the dining table and forward galley area. Space is maximized and streamlined here, providing a clean, tidy kitchen area which features a hidden sink, cooktop, oven, and storage throughout.
Below deck and aft is the owner’s cabin behind a bulkhead, with a full-sized sofa, dressing table, and ample built-in storage. Lightly tinted doors on either side of the bed conceal a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom, respectively. A VIP cabin is located forward, with an ensuite bathroom and a discreet vanity table with circular mirror. Two twin cabins are situated on either side of the companionway: with cutaway windows in each cabin, these smaller rooms are airy and light. Though these cabins share a bathroom, the starboard cabin has ensuite access.
The 720 is equipped with standard twin MAN V8 1200hp engines that achieve a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. Optional twin MAN V12 1400hp engines are also available, reaching top speeds of 32 knots and cruising speeds of 28 knots.
