The Ferretti Infynito 90 is an 88-foot luxury explorer yacht that was announced by the iconic Italian yacht-building company Ferretti in 2023. Set to revolutionize the expedition-class of vessels forever, this ambitious and hyper-modern watercraft presents a super-sleek profile with an aggressive, double-height bow-entry, swooping architectural lines, a cathedral-like enclosed foredeck and three-levels of exquisite living spaces with a contemporary European flair that are designed to be enjoyed all year round. The perfect option for adventurous cruisers who like to enjoy off-the-beaten-track exploration with the whole family in tow, the Infynito will herald a new, stylish class of long-distance luxury yachts for the Ferretti Group, with three of these models sold even before the range is launched.
The upper-deck is split between a full-beam, teak-lined al-fresco lounge to aft and a sophisticated upper-lounge and pilot-house forward. On the sun-deck you can expect to find room for tender storage or a set of lavish sun-loungers, as well as a sheltered outdoor dining table for up to six guests and a wet-bar station with a grill and an ice-chipper. Head indoor to discover a sultry cocktail lounge or elevated dining room that is separated from the pilot-house by a lattice timber bulkhead. In here you will find a subdued vibe for focused piloting, a side sofa, a map-desk and a pair leather-clad helm seats facing a ship-style non-glare dashboard with all the latest navigational tech.
The most awe-inspiring element to this yacht has to be the partially enclosed foredeck. Lined by swooping cantilevered architectural beams and covered by a vast sunroof with six mullioned panes, with extra glazing by the bow, this semi-outdoor space can be used across all four seasons of the year. A casbah-style raised daybed at the front allows for a trio of guests to luxuriate all afternoon, while there’s also a jacuzzi plunge pool out here lined in repurposed teak and a wrap-around U-shaped sofa. Head into the aft-cockpit for a breezy retreat with a vast transom sunpad that connects to a dining sofa with a table, or move indoors into a plush, Ideaeitalia-designed salon with cinema-screen side glazing, parquet floors in silver oak, fluted bulkheads in golden timber, bronzed accents, bespoke wicker highlights and stylish, low-slung furnishings with an effortlessly contemporary panache. To aft there are a trio of sofas, a set of armchairs and custom-built coffee tables, while further forward there is a walk-in galley and a forward dining room. Alternatively you can exchange the dining room for a main-deck owner’s stateroom with a king-sized bed, 180-degrees of wrap-around glazing, a side sofa, a work-desk, a walk-in closet and a pale marble and black granite-lined bathroom where the galley would be.
Across the lower-deck there are up to four en-suite staterooms with dynamic glazing and a hushed, understated tone ideal for relaxing. Alternatively you can exchange one of the cabins for a lower live-aboard galley if you opt for the main-deck stateroom layout. The pick of the cabins down here is a full-beam amidship affair with a king-sized bed, a walk-in dressing room, a work desk, a sofa and an en-suite with a wet-room shower. A crew quarters for two is accessed via the transom and hosts its own private amenities including a galley, a dinette lounge and head facilities.
Powered by a pair of 1800HP MAN V12 diesel engines, you can expect top speeds of up to 22 knots and a swift cruising speed of 17 knots. Thanks to a 3,038-gallon fuel tank you will be able to traverse the oceans for up to 1,200 nautical miles at an economy cruise of 12 knots, while a category A offshore hull crafted from reinforced fiberglass will retain its poise as it vaults the oceanic swells. This is also a yacht built with the environment in mind, and utilizes eco-friendly practices like solar panels, recycled materials and sustainably sourced materials throughout.
