The Azimut Grande Tri-Deck is a 125-foot luxury superyacht that is set to launch in 2021 with the first vessels delivered to customers in 2022. The newest
As Azimut’s newest yacht, it is also one of their most innovative, becoming the first triple-deck superyacht ever launched by the Avigliana and Viareggio, Italy-based firm. With half a dozen models sold prior to launch, the Azimut Grande Tri-Deck is set to revolutionize the market for high-end motoryachts.
A sleek Alberto Mancini design with a raised hull has been constructed out of light-weight carbon-fiber to maximize both internal and external space aboard this vessel. The upper flybridge features a tinted transparent hard-top and radar tower for protection from the sun’s glare, and has enough room for a rear lounge space, a wet-bar, a four-seater sunpad and round conversation sofas. There are an amazing four rear sun terraces on this vessel, including an upper-deck al fresco dining terrace with transom sofas that sits just below the flybridge. On the main deck you will find an aft terrace that hosts another dining table, bespoke leather seats, a pair of stern-facing L-shaped sofas and a glazed transom wall with superb views out across the water.
On the lower level, meanwhile, there is an expansive beach-club setting with a swimming platform, a pair of sofas and an external wet-bar with a dayhead, that is enclosed at the sides with cutaway hull walls. The wet bar cleverly hides an opening door that provides access to a large tender garage capable of holding a pair of water toys. One should not overlook the foredeck area, either, as this al-fresco space hosts a jacuzzi spa-pool as well as a faux-Portuguese Bridge sofa and a pair of molded sunpads.
Interiors are the work of renowned designer Achille Salvagni, who has taken his cues from the ample natural light that cascades in through double-height wrap-around windows to create a clean and minimalist space with plenty of contemporary motifs. Internal arrangements are subject to the sort of customization yacht owners at this price-level inevitably demand, but the upper-deck can come with a rear-lounge, an elevated master stateroom and a raised pilothouse with the latest in navigational controls. One level down and you will find an internal cockpit longer than most yachts are from pulpit to stern. This level also features the main lounge, designed with hosting in mind and complete with a hook-shaped sofa, bespoke coffee tables, armchairs, and bar facilities. Positioned amidship is a large, live-in galley with a country-kitchen feel, boasting marble worktops and Miele appliances.
Located at the front of the main deck and benefiting from floor-to-ceiling windows with views out across cutaway bulwarks is a secluded owner’s stateroom the size of many Manhattan studios, with a California King bed, living space and an en suite with a jacuzzi-style bath and a circular, waterfall shower cubicle. The overnight accommodation does not stop there, as the lower deck level features a pair of VIP double rooms, a double side berth and a twin berth with Pullmans. All guest bedrooms include en suite bathrooms and single-pane panoramic windows, including triple-length windows in the VIP rooms. There is also a private crew quarters located towards the bow, where up to five members of staff can rest soundly after a hard day’s work running this incredible boat.
A semi-planing double-chine D2P hull designed by Pierluigi Ausonio boasts reduced drag and enhanced stability while on the move, while a pair of 2600MHP MTU engines provide top speeds of around 24 knots. With a fuel capacity of 23,000 liters, meanwhile, the Azimut Grande Tri-Deck is well suited to long-distance cruising and will provide a palatial place to stay as you embark on grand tours of the Mediterranean and Caribbean islands.
