The Absolute Navetta 53 is a 52-foot motoryacht launched by the iconic Italian yacht-building brand Absolute Yachts in 2024. The Navetta class occupies a position half-way between that of a long-haul trawler with a rugged hull primed for exploration and a sleek flybridge cruiser dripping in style and comfort. The Navetta 53 is one of the more compact vessels in the range, but this stalwart of the seas impresses with a blend of sharp angles and rounded nautical curves, expansive modern glazing, free-flowing living spaces and the ability to stay out on the water for longer.
SI Yachts is one of the largest Absolute Yachts dealers in North America and can assist with you custom ordering your own brand-new Navetta 53. A floating hard-top with a sunroof hangs above the majority of the teak-lined flybridge, where you can find space to aft for sun-loungers and, across the middle section, a plush U-shaped sofa with a dining table and an open wet-bar station with a heavy-duty grill and refrigeration options. Up front there is a central helm station primed for elemental piloting as well as a pair of L-shaped companion sofas from where you can watch the captain at work. Prime sunbathing space down on the foredeck comprises a Portuguese Bridge-style sofa for three built into the superstructure itself, which faces a cocktail table and a sprawling modular sunpad for a trio of guests. Cool outdoor space in the aft-deck boasts supreme views out beyond a glazed transom wall and features not only a pair of sofas but an aft-docking station, while a full-beam hydraulic swim platform to stern hides access into a rear crew quarters.
The main-deck salon is surrounded on all sides by glass, with rear sliding doors opening up to reveal wide-plank wood floors, brushed stone surfaces, pale hardwood surrounds, lavish contemporary furnishings and a muted tonal palette of cream and hazelnut that oozes sophistication. A galley kitchen with all modern conveniences shares the space in here with a U-shaped dining sofa and table, a starboard love-seat and, up front, a non-glare helm with two piloting seats. Expect navigational goodies to include two Garmin MFD screens, power-steering, active trim assist, a Penta joystick, thruster controls, a high-speed compass and optional extras like a Seakeeper 6 stabilizer switch and a docking camera.
The three-cabin, two-head layout on the lower-deck has been artfully arranged to feel breezy and expansive, a feeling only accentuated by the lavish use of panoramic hull glazing down here. A starboard twin cabin and a VIP double by the bow, both with full-height lockers, share a main head with a shower cubicle, while the full-beam amidship master stateroom can boast a king-sized island bed, a work-desk, ample closet space, two widescreen hull windows and a dedicated, marble-lined en-suite with a waterfall shower.
Powered by a twin-set of 480HP Volvo Penta D6 IPS650 diesel pod-drive engines, you can anticipate top speeds of up to 28 knots and smooth cruising speeds of clocking in at approximately 22 knots. A 528-gallon fuel tank and a B-class semi-displacement hull optimized for stamina and balance deliver a cruising range of around 250 nautical miles, a range that only extends at slower speeds.
