The Absolute 62 Fly is a 61-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that launched by the award-winning Italian yacht-building firm Absolute in 2019. A profile defined by razor-sharp lines and sheer expanses of dynamic glazing hides a yacht that is the perfect combination of Italian elegance and brute force. With sun-kissed outdoor lounge space and quietly plush surrounds indoors, not to mention hi-tech design interventions and a fuel-efficient ride, this is the perfect yacht for families who enjoy lengthy coastal cruises.

The teak-lined flybridge is covered by a hard-top canopy with an electronic sunroof so that you can determine the ideal balance between sunshine and shade. To the rear of the bridge sits an open space framed only by steel guardrails where you can place a couple of sun-loungers and soak up the views to stern. Further forward there is a cushioned U-shaped sofa that surrounds a one-piece timber table and room for a wet-bar console with an electric grill, chilled storage, a sink and an icemaker. At the front of the bridge, meanwhile, there is an upper helm and an adaptable cocoon-style lounge that can be turned into a single, sprawling sunpad or divided between a smaller sunpad and a sofa. Further space to work on your tan is to be found down on the foredeck, where a triple width sunpad with headrests and cupholders sits ahead of a Portuguese Bridge-style sofa with marina-facing views. Should you require something a little more shaded, head to the teak-lined aft-cockpit, where a transom dining sofa with a table connects to a rear sunpad and side steps down to a fully hydraulic swimming platform and a transom storage locker.
Your choice of authentic hardwoods lines a main-deck salon that retains a light and breezy atmosphere thanks to panoramic side glazing and sliding glass doors to the rear. The first thing you will see in here is the aft galley, ideally positioned for service out to the cockpit. The kitchen features rounded work-surfaces in pale marble and cabinets in light oak, and offers amenities like a four-zone hob, a combination oven, a full-height fridge-freezer tower and a stainless-steel sink. Across from this there is a lavishly lacquered dining table paired with an L-shaped sofa, while a single-step up leads you to a low-slung sofa, a loveseat and a glass-topped coffee table. A pair of leather piloting seats face a modern helm station with dual Garmin or Raymarine multi-function display screens, thruster controls, a steering wheel, a Penta joystick, VHF radio and a starboard skipper’s door.
A 17-foot beam allows for a three cabin, three head layout across the lower-deck, with each room boasting plenty of head clearance, knife-insert windows, recessed or strip lighting, velvety soft carpeting, veneered surfaces, hardwood cabinetry, mirrored wall panels, steel fixtures and comfortable bedding. A starboard twin and an angled, double stateroom to the bow take up the front portion of the hull, while to aft there is an owner’s stateroom. This full-beam suite features a work-desk, a side sofa, a walk-in closet, a queen-sized bed, bedside cabinets and a deluxe bathroom lined in veined marble with a waterfall shower so big it requires its own porthole window.
Top speeds of 34 knots and cruising speeds of 27 knots come thanks to twin 725MHP Volvo Penta D11 IPS950 diesel engines, while at the sedate pace of 9 knots you will consume just 8 US Gallons of fuel per hour.
