The Absolute Navetta 52 is an innovative 52.2-foot luxury flybridge cruiser launched by the celebrated Italian shipyard at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival. A modern adaptation of a traditional Italian design, the navetta, or ‘little ship’, the Navetta 52 is a trawler-like cruiser designed for long-range trips with a semi-displacement hull. This yacht’s elegant, indulgent lines and wide, powerful profile put you in mind of the open water before you even step aboard. Between the agile IPS engines, spacious living areas, and excellent fuel economy, the Navetta 52 is ideal for long, languid adventures.

The swim platform is an unexpected delight, with an electric grill and sink hidden in the transom – you can cook up burgers from here while your guests swim or dangle their legs in the water. Wide side decks are protected by stainless-steel rails, with safety reinforced by fiberglass bulwarks. A portside door leads to the single crew quarters behind the engine room. The aft cockpit features a sofa and dining table perfect for al fresco meals. A portside staircase leads to the flybridge, sliding glass doors lead into the aft galley with fridge, Paini sink, a Miele 4-burner stove, with plenty of storage and workspace to port and rich wood sideboards and cabinetry to starboard. Further amenities include a Miele dishwasher and convection microwave oven.
A raised salon is found forward and up a step, with a large U-shaped sofa curved around a folding Canaletto walnut dining table. Furnishings and upholstery have light tones that complement the bright wood elements. There is enough volume on this space for multiple guests to move and lounge freely, while the surrounding glass panels enhance the sense of freedom.
The lower helm is equipped with two Raymarine displays, a wooden steering wheel, and a joystick that controls the engines and bow thruster. The glazing that surrounds the main deck is stunning, with almost uninterrupted views of the windscreen to the cockpit. A staircase just to port of the helm leads to three cabins below deck. The foredeck will be a favorite spot among your guests, with an expansive, curved sofa facing a massive sunpad, both looking out to sea.
Below deck and amidships, you’ll find a substantial full-beam owner’s suite. A large bed takes central stage against the bulkhead, with a loveseat beneath a large side window and a vanity to starboard. A pop-up TV hides in the dresser, while a wardrobe supplies further storage. An en suite bathroom is concealed behind a pocket door, and features a shower stall, basin sink, Corian countertops and portholes. The VIP is found at the bow, with the queen bed situated a unique 45-degree angle for clear movement around the perimeter of the bed and a pleasant position beneath the side window. The third cabin features two single beds with a side window that share access to the day head with the VIP suite.
Up on the flybridge, you’ll find the heart of this yacht. The upper helm – a plush corner seat with room for a companion – is surrounded by L-shaped sofas, encourages conversation between everyone on the top deck. Fix up drinks or rustle up dinner at the portside wet bar with grill, sink, and fridge with a serving station.
Two Volvo Penta D6 IPS 435hp engines with pod drives cruise comfortably at 14 knots, with a max speed of 25 knots.
