The Absolute Navetta 50 is a 49-foot luxury explorer yacht with a semi-displacement hull that is set to be launched by Italian yacht builder Absolute Yachts at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival. Inspired by the Greek goddess Calypso, this is a vessel designed around total freedom, with an undeniable whitewashed Mediterranean vibe that even Odysseus would recognise. A distinctive snub-nosed vertical bow designed to deflect oceanic swells has been paired with a sculptural body with plenty of ergonomic curves and funkier angles for a sleek but purposeful look. Designed for true adventurers, the Navetta 50 delivers long-distance cruising with the sort of contemporary look and feel rarely found on a trawler-style vessel. Designed around maximizing high-volume living, with no clear separation between indoor spaces and outdoor terraces, this yacht is truly perfect for lounging in style while you are on the move.

Guests aboard the Navetta 50 are encouraged to soak up the elements out on the deck, where authentic materials like teak and steel combine with high-gloss fiberglass, tempered glass panels and refined, hard-wearing upholstery that give the exterior a timeless nautical feel. One of the best spots for entertaining is up on the flybridge, which sits under a floating hard-top roof with plenty of sun-kissed space to the fore, where a full-beam casbah-style sunpad awaits. Also up here is wraparound seating that traces the tinted windscreen, a bespoke outdoor dining table, a Corian-lined wet-bar with a grill, a sink, an ice-chipper and refrigeration, as well as a central upper helm crafted for piloting against the sea-breeze.
Drop down one level to discover a three-zone modular sunpad out on a foredeck, which is lined in exquisite teak with nothing but high guardrails to separate you from the views. Take a stroll down the broad side-decks, complete with cutaway gunwales, to find the shaded aft-deck, a plush retreat with a glazed transom wall, a pair of bespoke sofas, a fold-out multi-use table, and mood lighting. Two glass transom gates open up to guide guests all the way down to a full-beam, timber-lined swim platform with an actuating function that lowers swimmers into the water at the touch of a button; a separate crew quarters is also available down here, accessed via a stern-side door.
The main deck salon benefits from fully-opening tinted glass doors to the rear, establishing a strong connection with the outdoors, while cinema-screen windows, honey-toned timber surrounds and plenty of room to breathe and unwind make this living space feel breezy and expansive. Upon entry there’s a fully-equipped open kitchen with Corian work surfaces and high-end appliances, while further forward there’s a twin set of plush, ergonomic sofas, one of which comes with a dining table ready to host your special occasions. At the front of this level there is a starboard helm with two piloting seats placed alongside a skipper’s door, with technology like power-steering, touchscreens, Penta electronics and a joystick set to be featured.
Heading below deck, where three staterooms for up to six overnight guests await, the atmosphere of the Navetta 50 becomes more subdued. A restrained palette of grey timbers and moody fabrics combine with oversized trapezoidal hull windows with plenty of natural light during the day but a quiet and peaceful vibe at night. To starboard there is a twin cabin with a full-height closet, while to port there is a master stateroom with a large double bed, bedside cabinets, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with a wet-room shower. Another VIP stateroom is located by the bow and presents not only a queen bed but widescreen hull windows, a work-desk, a full-height closet and an en-suite shared with the twin room.
A pair of 480HP Volvo Penta D6-IPS650 pod-drive diesel engines have been matched with a mammoth 475- gallon fuel tank for an impressive cruising range that will keep you out on the water for longer. Expect competitive top speeds, a dependable ride, superb fuel efficiency and the sort of agility required to drop in to those idyllic Riviera marinas.
