The Sanlorenzo SL90 Asymmetric is a 90-foot luxury motoryacht with a flybridge that was launched by the iconic Italian yacht-building brand Sanlorenzo in 2021. Signature sleek looks crafted by naval stylists Studio Zuccon have been paired with a robust hull with a fine, double-height bow and rugged engines designed for long-distance cruising. Interiors, meanwhile, retain the sophisticated and refined European allure that Sanlorenzo are famed for while introducing a radical new approach to space. By eliminating the port-side passageway Sanlorenzo has created a much wider living space on the main-deck for an expansive and sophisticated salon and living quarters, hence the name of this deluxe vessel.
Teak decking, a glazed transom wall, timber and steel accents and a lightweight hard-top welcome guests aboard a flybridge with plenty of lavish seating options. Enjoy meals and conversation at the U-shaped dining sofa with table, work on your tan on the modular sunpads to the rear, or stir down drinks at the walk-around wet-bar with an ice-chipper and grill. Up front you will find further seating, with a comfortable twin bench facing the port-side helm station. This modern dashboard will be fitted with the very latest in hi-tech navigational equipment, a pair of touchscreens and stabilizer switches.
A split-level foredeck one story down presents an elevated sunpad and steps down to a secluded bow-lounge shielded by high bulwarks at the nose of the yacht. A starboard side-deck leads back to a sheltered aft-cockpit with a transom sofa and side steps down to a full-beam swimming platform and a huge transom garage.
Enjoy an unrivalled sense of space in the main-deck salon, where floor-to-ceiling windows allow the light to flood in and illuminate authentic teak or Thai walnut floorboards, bronze-finished steel accents, grey lacquered surfaces and bespoke furnishings from brands like Minotti or Rode. You will encounter a sprawling L-shaped sofa in here, alongside a coffee table, ottomans and a glass-topped dining table. Further forward there is an enclosed galley with work surfaces and cupboards designed by Boffi, a double Gaggenau oven and high-class appliances throughout. At the front of the main-deck there sits a private owner’s stateroom with a lobby, a work-desk, a king-sized bed, bamboo-effect screens, walk-in closets and a spa-like bathroom on a sunken level lined in marble with a wet-room shower. Three more huge en-suite double cabins sit on the lower deck and benefit from one-way hull glazing, supreme comfort and masses of storage space, while a crew quarters is located up against the bow.
This yacht is powered by twin MAN 12V 2000hp diesel engines for maximum speeds of up to 29 knots, while at an economy cruise speed of 10 knots you can expect a range of some 1,800 nautical miles. The SL90 Asymmetric’s GRP planing hull, meanwhile, devours waves with ease as you explore some of the finest coastlines the oceans have to offer.
