The Sanlorenzo SL102 is a 102-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that was launched by the iconic Italian yacht-building firm Sanlorenzo in 2020. The teak-lined bridge sits underneath a sculptural hard-top with sun-louvres for the perfect balance of light and shade up here. By the glazed rear wall of the bridge there is room for plenty of sun-loungers and sunpads, or even a wood-framed jacuzzi, while across the center of this level there are two Minotti sofas, a bespoke timber-topped dining table for ten and a wet-bar station with a grill. An outdoor raised helm is matched by another in the pilothouse, where you will find a leather-clad piloting seat, a map-desk, bow and stern thruster controls, four touch-screen monitors with integrated controls, stabilizer switches and a high-speed compass.
Down on the main-deck you will delight in a lavish foredeck lounge with a triple-width raised sunpad, a U-shaped sofa hugging a cocktail table and a casbah-style daybed fitted snugly up against the bow. To the rear of the yacht there is a shaded cockpit with a transom sofa and side-steps down to a full-beam hydraulic bathing platform and a large tender garage. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and sliding glass doors to rear and to starboard illuminate a warm timber sole in the salon, where steel accents, Minotti furnishings, marbled surfaces and plenty of glossy lacquer exude a feel of utter sophistication. Built flush against the port-side bulwark, this area offers an extra 110-square foot of space relative to other yachts in this class, meaning more room for a pair of sofas, a dining table and an amidship galley. On the starboard side deck, meanwhile, there is a fold-out, floating cocktail terrace, the perfect setting for above the water morning espresso or late-night digestifs. At the front of this level there is an owner’s stateroom with a dressing room lobby, a stone-lined bathroom with a shower, a chaise-longue or wicker seats, a king-sized bed, a work-desk and windows on three sides.
Four more en-suite queen staterooms sit on the lower deck and come with plenty of storage and double-mullion hull windows. A crew quarters for six members of staff sits up by the bow and features its own lounge and head facilities.
The SL102 is powered by a pair of 2434hp MTU 16V 2000 M96 for a top speed approaching 27 knots and cruising speeds of approximately 20 knots. At an economy cruise speed of 11 knots, you can expect a long-distance cruising range.
