The Sanlorenzo SL100 is a 100-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that was produced by the award-winning Italian yacht-building firm Sanlorenzo between 2009 and 2012. This yacht became a bestseller thanks to its Francesco Paszkowski-designed sharp looks, a streamlined superstructure and lavish interiors, while the SL100’s exceptional build quality, rugged GRP hull and still-powerful engines keep this vessel in high-demand on the used and charter markets.
A floating hard-top hangs over the teak-lined flybridge for plentiful shade as you take in the astonishing views from up here. An entirely glazed rear wall with impeccable teak brightwork frames an aft-lounge with room for a pair of sofas and an outdoor coffee table, while further forward you will encounter a timber-lined wet-bar station with a slide-out worktop that reveals a grill, chilled storage and an ice-chipper underneath. Ahead of this there is a dining table for up to eight guests and a pair of forward sofas, one of which faces the al-fresco upper helm station. A companionway door, meanwhile, leads into a raised wheelhouse with four display monitors, VHF radio, bow and stern thruster controls, an oversized steering wheel, a compass and optional joystick handling.
One level down and you will enjoy sunbathing out on a foredeck equipped with a double sunpad or a casbah-style lounge built up against the bow, while in the shaded aft-cockpit there is space for a transom sofa and a table. Side steps lead down to a full-beam, hydraulic swim platform and a tender garage capable of hosting a modern jet-rib.
Interiors are the work of stylist Rodolfo Dordoni, who has opted for a scheme of golden oak with exotic timber accents, bronze highlights, mirrored ceilings, dramatic lighting and leather wall panels that shine in the streams of light pouring in through trapezoidal side windows and the sliding glass doors to aft. There are a pair of Cassina sofas, a home entertainment system and a formal dining table in the salon, while further forward on this level you will discover a galley with granite countertops, a four-zone hob, a combination oven, a steel double sink and plenty of storage. At the front of the main deck sits the palatial owner’s stateroom which boasts a sloping front window, a sofa, plenty of cabinetry and closet space as well as a stone-lined bathroom with an enclosed shower and a glass sink. There are three more en-suite double or twin cabins on the lower deck with mirrored panels, bedside tables and ample storage, though one cabin down here can be eliminated to make the remaining two staterooms extra-large. A crew quarters for up to five, meanwhile, sits nestled up by the bow.
Powered by a pair of 2435hp MTU 16V 2000 M93 diesel engines, this model can reach top speeds of approximately 28 knots with consistent cruising clocking in at 21 knots. Ride your vessel at an economy cruise speed of 11 knots and you can expect to stay out on the water for lengthy island-hopping trips before needing to refuel.
