The Sanlorenzo SD112 is a 111-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that was produced by the iconic Italian yacht-building firm Sanlorenzo between the years of 2016 and 2021. A sleek Francesco Paszkowski design catches the eye with a fine entry, curved detailing and a slew of innovations like a drop-down bulwark. Interiors, too, are bound to impress with an appeal that straddles the classically elegant and minimalist modern. A robust, semi-displacement GRP hull and rugged diesel engines, meanwhile, ensure that the SD122 is set to be a best-seller on the used market for years to come.
Up on the flybridge you can expect to find a set of four comfortable sun-loungers situated next to an entirely glazed rear wall with teak brightwork. Across the center of the open-air bridge, and built into the radar tower, there is a timber-lined wet-bar with a grill and chilled storage, as well as a jacuzzi spa-pool. Up front there is a starboard upper helm station and a forward sofa. This yacht also benefits from an enclosed wheelhouse for all-weather piloting, and in here you will find bow and stern thruster controls, Simrad display panels, a joystick, fin stabilizer switches, a Furuno Navtex system, Sailor VHF radio and a steering wheel.
Down on the main deck you will luxuriate for hours in direct sunshine out on a foredeck with a forward sofa and a casbah-style sunpad built up against the bow. For a more shaded retreat, head to the teak-lined aft deck where you will enjoy a transom sofa with a table and side-steps down to a full-beam bathing platform and a large tender garage to stern.
A sole and wainscotting in authentic Tanganyika wood catch the eye upon entry into a main deck salon with widescreen glazing and sliding glass doors to aft and starboard. The opening to starboard leads out onto a side-deck with a drop-down bulwark that turns into a floating cocktail terrace in a matter of seconds. In the salon you will find furnishings from high-end brands like Edra, Minotti and Paola Lenti contrasting against white lacquered surrounds and Penelope Oggi leather panels. There is space for a large L-shaped sofa, a set of armchairs and a bespoke, marble-topped coffee table, while further forward there is a formal dining table for up to eight. The Boffi-designed galley, meanwhile, features cooking appliances from Miele and Gaggenau, not to mention steel sinks and Corian work surfaces. At the front of this deck sits a full-beam owner’s stateroom with a trio of skylights, windows on three sides of the room, a plush sofa, a king-sized bed, a lobby with a desk and a bathroom lined in luxurious grey soapstone with a wet-room shower.
There is room for eight more overnight guests across four en-suite cabins on the lower deck, with rooms down here featuring large portholes, queen or twin beds and plenty of storage. A crew quarters for five boasts its own head and galley facilities.
Powered by a twin set of 1450hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT shaft-drive diesel engines, the SD112 can reach blistering top speeds of over 17 knots, while at an economy cruise of 11 knots you can expect to ride this beauty for around 2750 nautical miles before needing to refuel.
