The Sanlorenzo 73 Steel is a 239-foot superyacht that was announced by the iconic Italian yacht-building firm Sanlorenzo in 2022. Crafted from steel and aluminum, with a category-A ocean-going hull primed for offshore exploration, and a super-sleek appearance designed by Studio Zuccon, this is the most ambitious Sanlorenzo launch to date and the new flagship of the brand. Clean modern lines, cutaway bulwarks, expansive glazing, unrivalled capacity, elegant contemporary interiors and a wealth of stunning outdoor lounge spaces offer unparalleled comfort and style, while eco-friendly touches include solar panels for at-sea energy generation.
The most elevated of this vessel’s five sumptuous levels, the open-air and teak-lined flybridge affords 360-degrees of supreme sea views. Up here there are expansive marble-topped wet-bar facilities, a bespoke dining table to aft and a set of sunpads positioned forward that surround a wide jacuzzi spa-pool. One level down and there is a foredeck with yet another sunpad and jacuzzi, while to aft there is a sprawling lounge sofa, a daybed and a set of sophisticated armchairs. Step indoors to discover an elevated salon with a cognac bar, stone surfaces, pale oak wall panels, brushed steel surrounds and plenty of architectural glass, while further forward there is a captain’s quarters and a focused pilot-house with modern ship-style helm controls.
Another level down on the foredeck there is room for a helipad towards the bow and a secluded lounge with plush dining and seating options. To aft there is a sun terrace with a glazed transom wall and a pair of curved conversation sofas for up to a dozen guests with wet-bar facilities close to hand, while slide-open glazed doors lead into a stunning salon lined in deluxe materials with room for a bespoke dining table and masses of cool and contemporary seating. At the front of this level there is a full-beam master stateroom with a king-sized bed, a spa-style double bathroom and wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows.
An aft-deck on the main-level features a teak sole, a glass transom wall, a set of sultry sofas and side-steps down to a beach-club. This water-level leisure zone includes an extended hydraulic bathing platform and a stern-door that opens up to reveal a hidden bar and lounge with fold-down bulwarks that transform into floating cocktail terraces. This space links to a lower-deck gym and cinema room for private work-outs and film screenings. A further lavish salon on the main-deck is joined by a set of four staterooms on this level for up to eight overnight guests, with cabins on this level featuring expansive timber-lined storage, exquisite en-suite bathrooms and panoramic hull windows.
Down on the lower-deck there is further sleeping space, a crew quarters for up to 18 members of staff, a service and storage area and a live-aboard galley. A side-entry tender garage on this level opens up to port to provide access to a pair of jet-tenders with room for additional water-toys.
