The Sanlorenzo 44X-Space is a 143-foot megayacht that was launched by the iconic Italian yacht-building firm Sanlorenzo in 2024. Crafted in partnership with Studio Zuccon, this mammoth vessel is spread across five sumptuous levels of living space yet retains a sleek and streamlined look with plenty of assertive thrust, an aluminum superstructure, clean horizontal lines, sharp curves and wrap-around tinted glazing. Easily identified by the extra-large aft-deck, the 44X-Space delivers palatial dimensions, cutting-edge style and steel hull for rugged blue-water cruising.
A series of staggered sun terraces peppered throughout this yacht provide the perfect, teak-lined space to soak up the rays, with an optional flybridge crowning this vessel with a series of stylish, low-slung sunpads. One level down there’s an aft terrace with seating and a bar, while an aft-cockpit on the main upper-deck impresses with a glazed rear wall and a vast modular sofa. Out on the foredeck, meanwhile, there is a secluded retreat with a forward sofa, bespoke tables and a plunge-pool, all surrounded by high bulwarks protecting your privacy.
A truly extraordinary teak-lined aft-deck on the main level reinvents the beach-club concept by offering relaxation and pampering space across two floors. On the upper level there’s a shaded dining table, a sprawling modular sunpad, fold-out cocktail balconies and a hydro massage infinity pool framed by a glass wall to transom. Side steps lead down to a full-beam swim platform and a door that opens up to reveal a water-level retreat with side walls that fold down to offer extra-large floating sun terraces. In here you can expect a spa and Technogym with a Hammam sauna, bar facilities and lounge space.
Designer Piero Lissoni opted for a restrained and contemporary vibe to the interiors, with rooms featuring modern furnishings, oak parquet floors, bronze highlights, pale hardwood surrounds, marbled surfaces, lavish use of Celino fabrics, geometric ceiling panels, acoustic fluted wall dividers, Onyx touches and a smattering of made-to-order avant-garde artworks. The bridge level features a sophisticated lounge with a cognac bar and a wheel-house set to feature the very latest in navigational tech. The upper-deck represents the social heart of this yacht, and boasts sedate lounge space with a range of opulent sofas, a service and galley area as well as a forward owner’s stateroom. This impressive suite boasts a private lobby lounge, a walk-in dressing room, a double bathroom with a rainforest shower and a full-beam bedroom with a king-sized bed, a chaise-longue, a vanity station and curved sliding glass doors with direct access onto the foredeck.
On the main-deck there’s yet more sprawling lounge space in which to entertain, as well as a live-aboard galley and a forward cinema-lounge. Down on the lower-deck there’s a side-entry tender garage and overnight quarters for up to eight lucky guests, with cabins on this level featuring widescreen hull windows, full-height closets and spa-like bathrooms. A separate crew quarters at the front of the hull features sleeping space for eight with entirely separate living facilities.
A pair of 1066HP MAN V12 engines fire this vessel to top speeds of around 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots. The efficient hull with a wave-slicing entry works in tandem with a 13,208-gallon fuel tank for long-distance, offshore cruising on the high seas.
