The Riviera Belize 66 Daybridge is an innovative and elegant 66-foot flybridge motor yacht first launched in 2020 by leading Australian yacht builder Riviera in collaboration with Belize Yachts and 4D Designs. An enhanced version of its popular sister the Belize 66 Sedan, this yacht boasts the ultimate in performance and comfort.
The versatile teak boarding platform features a fold-out swim ladder and can be partially submerged to create a beach. Pop-up cleats activated by the press of a button allow owners to secure their tender or water toys, which can be stored in the tender garage. Stairs on either side of the transom lead up to the aft cockpit, an exceptionally well laid-out space ideal for dinner, drinks, and conversation.
To port, an impeccable white barbecue center and wet bar with stainless-steel fixtures features twin electric barbecues, a drawer refrigerator, plenty of stone countertops, and an ice maker - everything you need for a cookout at sea. When dinner is ready, usher your guests to the starboard lounge area, an L-shaped sofa and dining table. Positioned beneath a glass bulkhead that can be opened to seamlessly connect the cockpit and the salon, this is one of the most convivial spots on board. A C-shaped sofa with a large dining table can be found out on the bow.
Upon entering the salon, guests will find a generous aft galley. Well-equipped with an oven, multi-zone cooktop, and a drawer refrigerator and freezer. Stunning wood cabinetry cleverly features a slide-out pantry for all your provisions. The forward salon lounge features two main sitting areas, a large L-shaped sofa to starboard and a curved C-shaped dinette. Further forward is the starboard helmstation with two captain’s chairs, furnished with joystick steering, a Volvo Penta Glass cockpit with touchscreen navigation, and a stunning wraparound windshield for incredible visibility and excellent views.
A central companionway leads to the lower deck, where you’ll find three well-appointed cabins, foremost of which is the full-beam amidships owner’s suite. A desk to starboard can be found beneath a large hull window to starboard, while a comfy sofa sits to port beneath a matching hull window. A queen-sized walkaround bed is situated in the middle of the room, with storage beneath. This cabin benefits from an en suite bathroom, complete with a vanity, porcelain sink, mirror, shower receptacle, and lavish decorative elements.
The forward VIP room is worthy of the name, with a queen bed, hull windows, overhead hatch, plenty of storage, and an en suite bathroom. A further twin cabin can be found to port of the stairway and enjoys two sliding twin beds and access to the day head, which can be found to starboard. An optional crew quarters can be positioned near the engine room. Should owners opt for the ‘Grand Presidential’ layout of this deck, they can except a larger en suite in the owner’s suite with an optional washer/dryer. This layout loses one of the forward heads but gains a welcoming lower lounge.
Up on the flybridge, or as Riviera calls it, the impressive daybridge offers yet more space for eating, drinking, and being merry, with an L-shaped sofa to starboard and a matching dinette to port. Captains will delight at the upper helm, outfitted with three Garmin displays and visibility as far as the eye can see. All you need to do is open up the hardtop and let the sunshine in.
Powered by two standard Volvo Penta D13 engines with 1,000HP apiece, capable of reaching max speeds above 30 knots and a more relaxed cruising speed of about 18 knots.
