The Riviera Belize 54 Daybridge is a 54-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge first launched by award-winning Australian yacht builder Riviera Yachts in 2023. Crafted in partnership with naval stylists 4D Designs, this handsome vessel boasts classic good looks that hark back to the golden era of mid-century yachting but with a modern flair and next-generation amenities. Subtle lines, teak and steel brightwork, a fine bow entry, sedate curves, understated luxury, old-school portholes and a striking all-white livery suggest traditional opulence, but make no mistake, this is a thoroughly modern boat. A rugged bluewater hull, powerful pod-drive motors, a sense of free-flowing space and home comforts throughout make this the perfect option for families who wish to cruise in style.
The teak-lined bridge remains open to the elements so that you can soak up the rays, though a navy-blue Bimini can be erected in a matter of seconds for shade. There is a U-shaped sofa lined in piped nautical-themed upholstery up here that surrounds an extending, high-gloss timber table. Further forward you will find a wet-bar console with timber work surfaces, chilled storage and a sink, while at the front of the bridge is a sports helm for high-octane piloting with the wind in your face.
Heading down onto the main deck you will find a double sunpad out on the foredeck with pop-up backrests, integrated cupholders and a secluded feel. To aft there is a sheltered cockpit with a transom sofa, a dining table and a service bar with a pair of stools. Head to stern to enjoy a submersible bathing platform paired with a capacious tender garage and a waterside wet-bar with an icemaker and an electric barbecue, perfect for water-level burgers and cocktails.
Sliding glass doors and retractable glazing disappear to fully connect the cockpit with the main deck salon, and in here you will enjoy a washed teak sole, timber accents, leather furnishings, generous side glazing, a skipper’s door to port and upholstered side panels. There is a galley upon entry with granite countertops, a multi-zone hob, a combination oven and plenty of refrigerated storage, while to starboard there is an L-shaped sofa hugging a bespoke dining table topped with rich walnut. Up front there are two helm seats facing a main dashboard with a timber fascia, a Penta joystick, a CZone monitoring tablet, dual Garmin Volvo Glass Cockpit touchscreens, power-steering, VHF radio and a mounted compass.
Head down to the lavish lower deck to enjoy sleeping quarters for up to six overnight guests across a classic 3-cabin, 2-head layout. The feel down here is sedate and understated, with plush carpeting, rich timber surrounds, elongated porthole glazing and ample head clearance. There is a bunk berth to starboard with a full-height locker, while to the bow there is a VIP stateroom with a double bed, a skylight, two cedar-lined closets, a work desk and direct access to a vast main head lined in wood with a waterfall shower cubicle. The master stateroom is located amidship and benefits from a queen island bed, bedside cabinets, a side sofa, mirrored wall panels and a bathroom with a porcelain bowl sink, a toilet and a walk-in shower.
Powered by a pair of 725HP Volvo Penta IPS950 diesel pod-drives, but with twin 600HP Cummins Zeus QSC pods also on offer, you can expect top-end speeds of around 33 knots. At a smooth speed of just below 20 knots you will enjoy a cruising range of approximately 370 nautical miles, while from a standing start you will reach planing speeds in as little as 7.4 seconds.
