The Riviera 68 Sports Motor Yacht is a 75-foot luxury sports yacht with a flybridge that was launched by the iconic Australian yacht-building firm Riviera in 2018. An ultra-sleek profile combines gentle curves to transom with sharper and more assertive lines to the above-water superstructure. Trapezoidal, wrap-around glazing, jagged fins and a fine entry give this vessel a thoroughly modern look, while living spaces blend deluxe materials with a Euro-style panache. Ideal for at-sea relaxation and watersports endeavors alike, the 68 Sports Motor Yacht also boasts a rugged offshore hull crafted by Mulder Design and robust sterndrives for impeccable seaworthiness.
The bridge is split between an al-fresco zone to the rear and an enclosed, climate-controlled area forward that is covered by a curved hard-top with an opening sunroof. Out back you will find an L-shaped sofa and a pair of seats surrounding a veneered timber-lined dining table, along with an outdoor wet-bar with a grill, chilled storage and a sink. There’s also a rear helm for inch-perfect docking back here. Inside you can expect plush seating for up to seven across a set of sofas, while the port-side helm features two commercial-grade NorSap helm seats with adjustable arm and footrests. The walnut-lined, backlit dashboard boasts dual Garmin Glass Cockpit touchscreens, a CZone monitoring tablet, an EJS docking joystick, VHF radio, a mounted compass, power-steering, a Humphree interceptor switch-pad and Twin Disc binnacle controls.
Heading down to the foredeck you will enjoy a sun-kissed and secluded retreat with a trio of integrated sofas and cocktail or coffee tables, ideal for lazy afternoons or evening soirees. You can also use this area to store a jet-tender and lower it into the water with the help of a 500kg electronic davit.
The teak-lined cockpit is split between a lower sports area and an upper mezzanine level for relaxation. Down in the fishing cockpit you will find in-sole fish boxes, a hidden lazarette, room for a fighting chair, flush rod holders, a transom livewell with a viewing window, a transom lift-gate leading to a swim platform, wash-down hoses, a bait-prep center and an ice-chipper. Also back here is a vast wet bar station with two grills and chilled storage, perfect for serving the guests up on the mezzanine level. Up to ten guests will enjoy the outdoors on this level, sitting at a pair of L-shaped sofas lined in marine-grade upholstery, each paired with a high-gloss teak dining table.
Glazed doors and windows open up to establish a strong connection with the main-deck salon, a space that benefits from 360-degrees of glazing, custom block lighting, cream-toned leather furnishings, rich walnut surrounds and a breezy, laid-back vibe. There’s a walk-in galley to aft with sheer white Corian countertops, a multi-zone hob, a dual stainless-steel sink, an oven and under-counter refrigeration, while further forward the space opens up to feature a pair of sprawling L-shaped sofas.
There is sleeping space for up to eight overnight guests on a stunning lower deck with skylights and dynamic hull glazing, though one of the cabins can be removed to provide an amidship Presidential suite. Up by the bow is a VIP double stateroom with two timber-lined lockers, a queen-sized bed and a deluxe bathroom with a shower, while another bathroom is shared by a twin and a bunk-berth. The owner’s stateroom down here is a full-beam affair with a king-sized bed, side-seating and an en-suite, though if you go for the upgraded option you can expect more seating, expanded storage space and a larger bathroom.
A pair of 1550HP MAN V12 shaft-drive diesel engines will deliver top speeds in excess of 31 knots, while at a smooth speed of 20 knots you will enjoy a cruising range of almost 400 nautical miles. If you need an extra burst of energy then upgrades to engines with up to 1900 points of raw horsepower are also available.
