The Riviera 61 Enclosed Flybridge is a 64-foot luxury convertible motoryacht with a bridge that was produced by the award-winning Australian yacht-building brand Riviera Yachts between 2008 and 2014. A bold aerodynamic design with modern curves, wrap-around glazing and a classic-contemporary approach to deluxe detailing established new standards in refinement, comfort and style upon launch. Riviera sold 8 of these magnificent vessels across the production run, with discerning buyers prizing the offshore optimized hull, speedy engines, lavish living spaces and sporty cockpit.
Up on the flybridge there is an open aft-terrace with splendid views and an enclosed lounge with a leather sofa, an extending table and a stylish wet-bar station ideal for mixing drinks. Also to be found up here is a sporty, wrap-around helm station up front with pedestal chairs, power-steering, an array of electronic multi-function screens, bow and stern thruster controls, a CZone monitoring system, Interceptor trim-tab switches, VHF radio and a mounted compass.
Head out onto the foredeck and work on your summer tan at a double-width integrated sunpad surrounded by guard-rails and cup-holders, or install a heavy-duty davit out here and use the space for tender storage. A more active approach to life at sea can be found in a teak-lined, self-bailing cockpit that is stocked full of fishing equipment. Flush rod-holders, optional outriggers or rocket launchers, a glazed transom livewell, wash-down hoses, two in-sole fish-boxes, rod lockers, a tackle drawer and a bait-prep station can all be found back here, while there’s even space for a fighting chair if you need it. A transom lift-gate leads out to a full-beam hydraulic bathing platform, while guests can also equip a wet-bar station with a grill out here to enjoy al-fresco meals at an optional pair of mezzanine sofas with a pop-up table.
Heading into the main-deck salon you will encounter sedate furnishings in New Zealand leather, high-gloss cherrywood surrounds, soft carpeting underfoot and masses of side glazing. There is a sprawling L-shaped sofa to port that surrounds a bespoke grain-matched coffee table, while to starboard there is a U-shaped dining sofa twinned with a sizeable dining table. A walk-in galley across from this boasts a teak and holly sole, a multi-zone Miele hob, plenty of refrigeration options, a combination oven, a sink and hand-made cabinets. Head down onto the lower deck to discover opulent sleeping quarters for up to eight overnight guests across a luxurious four stateroom and three head layout. A pair of bunk-berths to starboard share a bathroom with a shower, while a pair of double staterooms to port and by the bow impress with full-height cedar-lined closets, queen-sized beds, skylights or porthole windows and bedside units. Each stateroom comes with its own private en-suite bathroom and enclosed shower stalls.
Powered by twin 1015HP Caterpillar C18 turbodiesels as standard, you can expect full-throttle speeds of over 34 knots, while at a cruising speed of 26 knots you will enjoy a range of up to 400 nautical miles. The Frank Mulder-designed fiberglass hull, meanwhile, features a 12.5-degree transom deadrise for enhanced ability to ride the waves, and a balanced approach to traversing choppy coastal waters.
