The Riviera 58 Enclosed Flybridge is a 64-foot convertible flybridge sportfishing yacht produced by award-winning Australian yacht-building firm Riviera Yachts between 2002 and 2014. An immensely popular model with a serene and slightly sloping curve to transom, and swept-back interior space across a trio of plush and luxurious levels, this is the perfect vessel for offshore cruising with the entire family. Equally adept as a tournament fishing machine, the 58 Enclosed Flybridge benefits from a rugged hull and turbo-charged engines for a feisty experience as you hunt down prize catches.
A soaring Tuna Tower can be easily attached to this vessel, though with sublime views out of the enclosed flybridge you may not need it. An open-air aft deck to the rear of the bridge provides guests with a raised mezzanine sofa and a set of aft-docking controls, while stepping into the enclosed portion of the bridge you will discover wrap-around glazing, an overhead retractable sunroof, plush leather lined seating, an extending timber table and a full-beam helm station. Two Besenzoni leather helm seats face a walnut fascia dashboard with Hynautic power-steering, bow thruster controls, engine feedback displays, VHF radio, a docking joystick, a mounted compass and a full-set of Raymarine electronics including a fish-finder.
There is space on the lengthy foredeck to place a couple of sunpads, while anglers can use this area to cast a line and wait for a bite. Be a little more proactive in the vast teak-lined cockpit, which benefits from a self-draining sole, a kill box, a transom livewell, Glendinning Cablemasters, an in-deck fishbox, an optional Pompanette fighting chair, Rupp outriggers, flush rod holders, mounted rocket launchers, a bait-prep station with an ice-chipper and a transom gate leading out to a swim platform.
Head into the main deck salon via a glazed door to encounter high-class timber joinery, varnished cherrywood surrounds, leather accents, a teak and holly sole and plenty of natural light. In here you will discover an L-shaped leather sofa, a bespoke coffee table and a hand-crafted set of cabinets hiding a home entertainment system. Ahead of this there is a U-shaped dining sofa with a table directly across from a walk-in galley with Corian work surfaces, a Nova Kool freezer, a Sharp combination oven, a four-zone hob, a dishwasher and ample refrigeration.
Amazingly this vessel can accommodate up to eight overnight guests across a four cabin, three head layout. Two bunk-berths sit to starboard and share a sizeable bathroom with a shower. The two double staterooms on this level are located to port and to the bow, respectively, and present guests with queen-sized beds, cedar-lined lockers, plenty of privacy and dedicated en-suites with porcelain sinks and waterfall shower cubicles.
Powered by a pair of 900HP MTU 8V 2000 diesel engines as standard, you can also upgrade to a twin-set of 1400HP Caterpillar 3412E inboards for an extra jolt of raw speed. Expect top speeds to edge over the 40 knot mark, while at a cruising speed of around 32 knots you will enjoy lengthy coastal voyages thanks to a capacious 1100 gallon fuel tank.
