The Riviera 54 Enclosed Flybridge is a 57-foot dual-purpose luxury motor-yacht with an enclosed bridge launched by award-winning Australian yacht firm Riviera in 2019. This vessel’s sleek, towering presence and shimmering metallic livery can be discerned from afar, but the exquisite finish can really only be appreciated up close. Head out onto a broad foredeck surrounded by high guardrails to enjoy open-air relaxation space with room to fit a sunpad or cast a line. Alternatively, head to the all-weather bridge where, surrounded by glazing on three sides with a sunroof overhead, you can soak up the views from an L-shaped aft sofa in piped upholstery. The sofa surrounds a table, where you will enjoy drinks prepared at the bridge’s very own wet bar, while a chaise longue is located up front to enjoy marina-facing views. The yacht’s main helm is located to port on this level, and boasts Volvo Glass Cockpit touch-screens, a CZone monitoring tablet, hand-held VHF, a mounted compass, power-assisted steering, an auto-trim system, a Penta docking joystick, autopilot and optional fishing electronics.
The teak-lined cockpit offers plenty of family-friendly relaxation, boasting a transom sofa, a mezzanine sofa and a wet-bar with a grill, an ice-chipper and chilled storage. Yet this space also doubles as a fishing arena, with a transom lift-gate out to a bathing platform, a transom livewell, rod-holders, optional mounted rocket launchers, an in-sole fish box, a tackle lazarette, an optional bait-prep station in lieu of the wet-bar and rod storage built into the bulwark.
Heading indoors your guests are bound to be impressed by surrounds lined in your choice of oak, cherry or beech, while a pale timber sole, steel fixtures and panoramic side-glazing add a hint of opulence. There is a walk-in galley to aft with Corian work surfaces, a two-zone cooktop, a porcelain sink, under-counter chilled storage and a combination oven, while further forward you will find a side sofa and a U-shaped dining table with an adjustable table. Up to six overnight guests will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on the lower-deck, where a bunk berth to port shares bathroom access with a double stateroom by the bow with two timber-lined closets, a double bed and skylights. A full-beam owner’s stateroom amidship is large enough for a queen bed, bedside cabinets, an L-shaped sofa, bespoke cabinetry, a double-width cedar-lined closet and an en-suite with a waterfall shower cubicle.
Powered by twin 725HP Volvo Penta D11 IPS950 diesel engines, you can expect competitive top speeds of approximately 33 knots with a 27-knot cruising speed. At an economy cruise of just 22 knots you will enjoy a cruising range of around 437 nautical miles before topping up your fuel, making this a great option for ambitious coastal voyagers.
