The Riviera 43 Open Flybridge was first launched by Riviera, Australia’s leading yacht firm, in 2010. Over the years, Riviera perfected this popular model, and in 2020 introduced the world to a new, improved, distinctly modern flybridge yacht. Perfect for bon vivants and keen anglers alike, this stately, elegant craft offers sporty features without compromising on comfort.
A large boarding platform can be upgraded with a hydraulic lift for easy launch and retrieval of small tenders or jet skis – a must for lovers of watersports. When partly submerged, this space can become a beach for swimming. Enter the starboard side gate and find a large cockpit deck with high bulwarks for safety and comfortable mezzanine seating with storage just forward. Owners can customize the transom storage, opting either for a livewell or a wet bar with a barbecue.
A chic floating portside stair ladder on the cockpit leads to the flybridge and stunning views all around. The helm is immediately to starboard, with twin captain’s chairs and extraordinary visibility with state-of-the-art navigation and communication systems at less than an arm’s reach. Forward you’ll find a sumptuous lounge with L-shaped seating, table, and cupholders. Here, you and your guests can sip cocktails from the flybridge wet bar, drinking in the beautiful surroundings as if it, too, were a refreshment.
Heading back down from the flybridge to the salon, guests are welcomed by a gorgeous aft galley complete with ample counter and storage space, oven, cooktop, exhaust fan, and a drawer refrigerator and freezer. A nearby breakfast bar with two bar stools is ideal for morning chats over espresso, while an enormous window runs the length of the stunning dinette, which features a large polished table and U-shaped seating. Lower the table, and this space becomes an extra berth, while a cocktail cabinet provides the perfect stage for you and your guests to play bartender – glassware, bottle storage, and a refrigerator come standard, hidden within gorgeous cabinetry that continues throughout the boat. Although the flybridge supplies the primary helm, owners can also opt for an additional lower helm.
Below deck, there are three cabins, including a generous forward owner’s stateroom. This cabin features a queen island bed with storage integrated into the bed platform. Bedside tables and horizontal mirrors on either side of the cabin enhance space and comfort. In addition to vanity, mirror, sink and toilet, the en suite bathroom features a glass shower receptacle with a luxurious shower seat. Guests will feel at home in the aft VIP and starboard cabins, which boast two twin beds (that can be converted to a queen) and two twin bunks, respectively. Guest accommodation benefits from shared access to the well-appointed day head with shower.
Standard power comes from two Volvo Penta D6 IPS 600 engines with 880HP combined, with max speeds of 30 knots and a more economical cruising speed of around 20-23 knots.
