The Horizon RP110 is a 110-foot superyacht with a flybridge that was launched by the award-winning Taiwanese yacht-building company Horizon in 2013. This ambitious vessel was designed by iconic naval stylist J.C. Espinosa, who crafted a svelte and streamlined watercraft that hides its bulk well. Swooping structural arches, graceful curves, sinuous lines and a striking modern profile in a white livery give the RP110 a stunning contemporary form, while elegant and timeless interiors deliver living spaces at the cutting-edge of sophistication. A Donald L. Blount fiberglass displacement hull, meanwhile, boasts double-chines, a wave-slicing entry and a flared bow for the ultimate in offshore exploration.
There’s plenty of space to unwind on a bridge split between an outdoor lounge covered by a floating hard-top and a climate-controlled pilot-house. To the rear there is room for tender storage with a Steelhead davit or a pair of sun-loungers attached to a teak-lined jacuzzi plunge-pool. Further forward you will relax on a vast U-shaped leather-clad sofa with a pair of tables, or mix drinks at a timber-topped bar with a Teppanyaki grill, an ice-chipper and four bespoke stools. There’s a compact set of outdoor helm controls for piloting with the maritime breeze in your hair, though most captains will choose to head into an enclosed pilot-house with a sofa, a map-desk and dark surrounds with a hushed and reverential tone. In here you will find power-steering, FLIR thermal camera feedback, a MaxSea chartplotter, five MFD screens, stern thruster controls, stabilizer switches, a high-speed compass and more.
A discreet foredeck lounge nestled into the superstructure and surrounded by high bulwarks provides the perfect place for a select handful of guests to enjoy refreshments at a wrap-around sofa with a cocktail table, while there’s also room for a double-width sunpad out here. It’s a long way back to the sheltered and teak-lined aft-deck, where a huge C-shaped leather sofa and set of armchairs await. Step on down to the full-beam hydraulic bathing platform to discover a huge transom garage capable of hosting a jet-tender and a beach-club bar.
Curved glass doors in a crescent moon shape slide open to unveil a chic main-deck salon with bar facilities, a home entertainment system, an L-shaped sofa and a formal dining table. Soft angles, fluted wall dividers, rounded widescreen glazing and glass-framed furniture combine with coral accents, steel fixtures, satin-finished walnut surrounds, ebony highlights and marbled surfaces to give this space a refined and elegant appeal. Ahead of this there is a service area and live-aboard galley well-equipped with everything for life at sea, while at the front of the main-deck there’s a full-beam owner’s stateroom. This lavish suite impresses with plush carpeting, a walk-in dressing room, extra seating, a work-desk, a king-sized bed and a vast double bathroom with a wet-room shower.
Lower-deck cabins are no less impressive, and feature everything from full-height closets and generous hull glazing to dedicated en-suite facilities. There’s room for up to eight overnight guests down here across a pair of twin cabins and two VIP double staterooms, while a private crew quarters to the bow houses another six with its own private bathroom and kitchen amenities.
A twin-set of 1900HP Caterpillar C32 ACERT V12 engines deliver top speeds of approximately 20 knots, while a fuel capacity of 5547 gallons guarantee a long-distance range at a cruising speed of around 14 knots.
