The Horizon RP100 is a 97-foot luxury motoryacht that was launched by celebrated Taiwanese yacht firm Horizon in 2019. This raised pilothouse model boasts an ultra-sleek look with elegant curves, strong horizontal lines, sheer glazing and an aerodynamic profile. A durable hull offers both speed and efficiency, while living spaces are modern, understated and breezy, with plenty of luxury on display.
A vast flybridge is split between two distinct zones, with an aft terrace featuring room for sun-loungers and a jacuzzi, as well as a Steelhead Marine davit for lifting your modern jet-tender. Further forward and hidden under a floating hard-top there is a walk-in bar, side seating, a U-shaped conversation sofa with two tables and an outdoor helm station. A companionway door leads into a focused raised pilothouse lined in warm timber with a companion sofa, a Stidd helm seat and a modern dashboard with a Raymarine augmented reality system with a slew of MFD screens, ABT stabilizer switches, thruster controls, power-assisted steering, VHF radio, a high-speed compass and room for the navigational extras of your choice.
The foredeck is surrounded by high bulwarks and presents guests with both a forward-facing sofa and modular sunpad for a trio of guests with adjustable headrests, steel grabrails and integrated cupholders. Follow sheltered side-decks back to an aft-deck featuring teak surfaces, a timber and glass dining table, a broad transom sofa and bar facilities. Side steps lead down to a full-beam hydraulic bathing platform and a transom door that lifts up to reveal a beach-club lounge that can be used as a crew quarters.
The free-flowing main-deck salon is accessed via sliding glass doors, and impresses with an eight-seater lounge sofa in cushioned upholstery, a bespoke coffee table, a set of cabinets with a home entertainment system and a formal dining table. Interior treatments are subject to customization, but early hulls included satin-finished wengewood surrounds, parquet floors, lattice-framed hardwood cabinetry, dark granite surfaces, leather paneling and picture-frame side windows for a lavish and classy appeal. The front half of this deck boasts room for a full-beam stateroom, but standard layouts feature a vast galley and a forward dining area for up to ten surrounded by sloping mullions.
There is space for up to eight overnight guests on a plush lower-deck with refined carpeting, generous hull windows and plenty of storage. A pair of amidship twins with en-suite bathrooms are joined by an en-suite VIP double with a queen-sized bed and two full-height lockers, while to aft there is a full-beam owner’s stateroom. This palatial suite features an L-shaped side sofa, a work-desk, a king-sized bed and an exceptional full-beam bathroom with a walk-in closet, two sinks, granite or marbled surfaces and a wet-room shower.
A pair of 1600HP Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines should deliver top speeds of around 21 knots, while at a 10 knot cruising speed there is a range of up to 1,300 nautical miles. Voyage offshore with plenty of stability and verve thanks to a class-A, semi-displacement, SCRIMP-molded fiberglass hull, and eye ambitious destinations with up to 2,985 gallons of diesel in the tank.
