The Horizon E98 is a 99-foot luxury flybridge yacht that was launched by renowned Taiwanese yacht firm Horizon in 2017. Crafted in partnership with Swedish design icon John Lindblom and primed for stylish cruising, this attractive vessel features sheer horizontal lines, architectural flares, cresting wave side windows, graceful curves and a plumb-bow that has been paired with a wave-slicing entry. Chic living spaces offer panache, luxury and comfort whether inside or out, while modern propulsion methods deliver a smooth, quick and efficient ride.
Head up to the bridge to discover a deck split between a vast outdoor aft-terrace and a forward section that can be enclosed and climate-controlled for all-weather cruising or left-open to the elements for summer sunshine. To aft there is room for tender storage with a hydraulic Steelhead davit as well as a wet-bar console and an L-shaped sofa with an outdoor table. Moving forward you will discover either an enclosed upper lounge with more seating and a port-side helm station or a breezy and open space split between relaxation and focused piloting, covered by a wrap-around hood. Either way you will enjoy manning the controls at two Stidd helm seats, facing a helm station with excellent visibility, power-steering, a trio of Garmin MFD screens, a Boening vessel management system, ABT stabilizer switches, bow and stern thruster controls, a high-speed compass, VHF radio and room for your optional extras.
Horizon have masterfully carved space out of the foredeck to provide a trio of distinct seating options out here. A double-width elevated sunpad sits just above a C-shaped forward sofa with a cocktail table, while a day-bed nestled right up against the bow provides a dramatic setting for afternoon lounging. Follow the side-decks all the way back to the teak-lined aft-deck, where you will find a walk-in bar lined in stone and mosaic tiles, a timber dining table and a broad transom sofa. Two curving staircases lead down to a fixed, full-beam bathing platform to stern and a door leading into a capacious crew quarters, though clients can also request a hydraulic swim platform and a water-level beach club back here, too.
Step beyond sliding glass doors and into a broad main-deck salon with widescreen windows, a free-flowing layout and classy touches including mahogany surrounds, high-gloss walnut cabinetry, highlights in polished granite or quartz, high-end upholstery and the odd dash of authentic leather. There’s room for an array of sofas, armchairs and a love-seat back here, while an optional dining table provides lunch service for up to eight guests. A semi-open walk-in galley comes equipped with branded appliances and leads to a U-shaped dining booth at the front of this level, taking full advantage of wrap-around mullioned glazing for views as you eat.
Sleeping quarters for up to eight sit on the lower-deck, where lavish carpeting, warm timber surrounds and a mix of oval portholes and horizontal windows let in plenty of natural light. Two en-suite twin cabins with ample storage share the front half of the hull with an en-suite VIP double boasting a queen-sized bed and a double-width locker, while a full-beam master stateroom sits amidship. This handsome suite features a king-sized bed, leather-paneling, beside cabinets, room for a side sofa or work-desk, a walk-in closet and two sublime bathrooms that are linked by a wet-room shower.
Two 1600HP Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines provide top speeds of up to 23.5 knots in ideal conditions, while at a 15.6 knot cruising speed you will enjoy a range of up to 585 nautical miles before needing to top up the 4,500 gallon fuel tank.
