The Horizon E70 is a 69-foot luxury motoryacht with a flybridge produced by iconic Taiwanese yacht-building company Horizon Yachts between 2012 and 2016. This elegant and stylish model was crafted by award-winning naval architect Tommaso Spadolini, who opted for a sleek and sheer profile with fine lines, curved glazing and a focused flybridge. Designed with speed, comfort and luxury in mind, the Horizon E70 retains its allure on the used and charter markets to this day.
Head up to the bridge to find an open air sun terrace to aft with room for tender storage or a few sun-loungers. The front half of the bridge is positioned beneath a wrap-around hood with Strataglass glazing and an open aspect to the rear for that unbeatable connection to the elements. In here there are plush seating options in leather, bar facilities and an elevated helm with adjustable helm seats, zero-speed stabilizer switches, ABT bow and stern thruster controls, Hynautic power steering, Raymarine MFD screens, a high-speed compass, Eissing VHF radio, Sensotex vessel management, Aqualuma under-water light buttons, a Bose stereo system and room for your optional extras.
Teak brightwork and low-slung steel guardrails line a secluded foredeck that is perfect for guests who want to develop their summer tan. Out here there is a double-width elevated sunpad with headrests that connects to a forward love-seat with views out beyond the bow. Head to the shaded aft-deck to find a teak-lined space with a bar, an outdoor dining table and a four-seater transom sofa, as well as side-steps down to an elongated hydraulic bathing platform and a capacious stern-side tender garage.
Sliding glass doors open wide to greet guests into a sophisticated and modern main-deck lounge with widescreen windows, an armchair, two sprawling sofas in deluxe fabrics and a pair of glass-topped coffee tables. Interior treatments are subject to endless customization but features typically include high-gloss cherrywood surrounds, dark hardwood surfaces, bespoke display cabinets lined in glass, lavish upholstery and tasteful mood lighting throughout. Ahead of the salon there’s a formal dining area and, up by the forward mullions, a walk-in galley with black granite countertops, Miele appliances and plenty of refrigeration.
There are three cabins on the lower-deck for up to six overnight guests, with rooms on this level featuring fine carpeting, tasteful lighting, plenty of storage, en-suite facilities with shower cubicles and a blend of porthole glazing or triple mullions. The full-beam master stateroom is the pick of the bunch down here, and boasts a king-sized bed, upholstered wall panels, bedside cabinets, a work desk, a vast closet and a spa-like bathroom.
Powered by two 1150HP Caterpillar C18 ACERT diesel engines, you can expect top speeds to brush up against the 25 knot mark, while at lower cruising speeds you will enjoy multi-day voyages thanks to a 1142 gallon fuel tank. A fiberglass planing hull with reverse chines and a fine entry, meanwhile, offers thrilling acceleration, stability, efficiency and plenty of offshore poise.
