The Horizon E56XO is a 54-foot sports yacht that was launched by the iconic Taiwanese yacht-building company Horizon in 2016. Though based on the popular E56 model this vessel has a few key differences, mainly its low-slung and swept-back style with a super-sleek aerodynamic look, curved glazing and reconfigured deck-spaces. The best place to soak up the rays on this model has to be the foredeck, where a forward-facing sofa in striped nautical upholstery surrounds a fold-out dining table. Ahead of this there is a double-width sunpad with integrated cup-holders where you will enjoy the views out beyond the bow. Follow the high guardrails back to transom, where you will find an L-shaped dining sofa and a table situated under a structural overhang, striped teak decking and your choice of a transom sofa or a multi-purpose leisure module. This latter option provides everything needed for activities and relaxation, boasting not only a barbecue grill, refrigeration and a chunky icemaker but also a livewell, tackle storage and rod-holders so that you can fish for your supper and grill it up all from the same spot. Starboard-side steps, meanwhile, lead down to a hydraulic, full-beam swim platform robust enough to store a lightweight tender.
Slide-open doors and a fold-out window to rear fully open up the main-deck salon to the outdoors for a breezy feel, while panoramic double-tier side windows and LED mood-lighting keep this space feeling bright at all times. To the rear there is a walk-in galley with Corian work surfaces, a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, a Smeg oven and hob, a steel sink and a capacious fridge-freezer tower, while further forward you will encounter a U-shaped sofa in striking white leather surrounding a dining table. Materials in here are subject to customization but you can expect light oak surfaces, marble-effect counters, lavish fabrics and the extensive use of metallic frames to create a striking modern vibe.
A starboard side helm station, meanwhile, positions two comfortable helm seats next to a dashboard with Raymarine MFD screens, bow and stern thruster controls, Hynautic power-steering, Bennett trim-tab buttons, a Seakeeper stabilizer switch, a high-speed compass, VHF radio and more.
Head down to the lower-deck to enjoy peaceful overnight accommodation for up to six guests across three cabins, with each room benefitting from generous hull glazing.
