The Horizon 94 Widebody is a 93-foot luxury flybridge yacht that was launched by award-winning Taiwanese yacht firm Horizon in 2005. A timeless John Lindblom design gives this yacht sleek horizontal lines, sharp curves, expansive glazing and a fine-entry designed to slice through the waves. A range of teak-lined outdoor spaces combine with breezy and climate-controlled interiors for the ultimate in comfort and luxury, while a sturdy hull and powerful propulsion make this model a joy to ride. Though not currently in production the 94 Widebody remains a much sought-after vessel on the used and charter markets.
On the flybridge there is room to aft for tender storage with a davit, while the fully-open aspect back here proves perfect for sunpads, sun-loungers or even an outdoor jacuzzi. A floating hard-top provides shade over the front half of the bridge, where a walk-in bar with a Wolf outdoor grill, an ice-maker and chilled storage sits across from lavish outdoor lounge sofas surrounding a dining table. At the front of this level there is an open-air helm station for elemental piloting with a pair of companion sofas.
Down on the main-deck there is a double-width elevated sunpad and a forward love-seat out by the bow, while in the teak-lined aft-deck there is a transom sofa with a high-gloss timber dining table. Side steps lead down to a full-beam bathing platform and access into a beach-club or stern-side crew quarters. Sliding glass doors lead into a lavish main-deck salon with panoramic windows, mood lighting and plenty of free-flowing space to unwind or entertain. Interior treatments are subject to customization but typical design flourishes include satin-finished Makora cherrywood and Carpathian elm surrounds, Marfil marble accents, mahogany surfaces, hand-crafted cabinets and plush carpeting or polished tiles. There’s room in here for a selection of elegant sofas, armchairs and Ottomans, while a formal dining table will host many memorable evening meals. Ahead of this there is a semi-open galley kitchen with granite work surfaces, GE appliances, Sub-Zero refrigeration options, a stainless steel sink and plenty of storage, as well as space for a dining booth.
A main-deck pilothouse, meanwhile, replicates the controls found on the bridge and features a leather-lined Stidd Admiral helm seat facing a modern dashboard with Garmin MFD screens, Simrad autopilot, bow and stern thruster controls, Hynautic power-steering, trim-tab switches, Icom VHF radio and a high-speed compass.
There is sleeping space for at least six overnight guests on the lower-deck, with three en-suite cabins on this level featuring generous hull glazing, mahogany surrounds and a quiet, secluded vibe. A twin room to starboard and a VIP double occupy the front portion of the hull and benefit from masses of storage and breezy bathrooms, while a full-beam owner’s stateroom features a king-sized bed, a sofa, a work-desk and two granite and timber-lined bathrooms linked by a glass-framed whirlpool bath-tub with shower fixtures.
You can expect top speeds of up to 15 knots thanks to a pair of 1400HP Caterpillar 3412E diesel inboards, with consistent cruising speeds clocking in at around 12 knots. A rugged semi-displacement hull in solid fiberglass has been primed for efficient cruising, and you will be able to stay out on the water all week-long due to a fuel capacity of up to 3,000 gallons.
