The Carver 52 Voyager is a 53-foot luxury flybridge yacht produced by Wisconsin’s award-winning yacht-building firm Carver Yachts between 2007 and 2014. A simplified and swept-back look with sleek angles, a sharp entry, wrap-around glazing and half-moon windows gives this vessel an aerodynamic feel, while a trio of outdoor lounge spaces ensure plenty of summer fun. Hand-finished interiors, a rugged reinforced fiberglass hull, beefy diesel engines and high-tech interventions throughout keep this model relevant and popular on the used and charter markets to this day.
A floating hard-top provides plenty of shade for those relaxing up on the open-air flybridge, where lucky guests will discover a hook-shaped white leather sofa surrounding a dining table. Across from this there is a love-seat and an outdoor wet-bar station with a grill and a drinks cooler, while further aft there is an open space for sun-loungers or tender storage. Up front there is a port-side helm station where a Flexsteel piloting seat faces an ergonomic dashboard with Teleflex hydraulic steering, Raymarine E120 touch-screens, Voyager camera feedback, a mounted Ritchie compass, VHF radio and a Carver docking system with stern and bow thruster controls.
Out on the foredeck there is the obligatory double-width sunpad in piped upholstery, while in the aft-deck there is room for a table or your choice of fishing gear. A transom gate leads out to an extended full-beam swimming platform with a telescopic ladder, while sliding glass doors lead into a plush and sophisticated main-deck salon. In here you can expect high-gloss cherrywood surrounds, lavish carpeting and expansive side glazing along with climate-control, a set of hand-crafted cabinets, an L-shaped leather sofa, a pair of armchairs and a bespoke coffee table. A walk-in galley sits amidship and boasts granite-effect Karadon countertops, a Kenmore microwave and coffee-maker, EuroKera chilled storage, an Avanti wine-cooler, a multi-zone hob and a bucket sink. Ahead of this there is a forward lounge with wrap-around seating and a second enclosed helm station for all-weather piloting that faces a triple set of sheer mullioned windscreen windows.
You can take the whole family along with you as you head out on ambitious multi-day voyages thanks to three lower-cabins for up to six overnight guests. A double stateroom with cedar-lined lockers and a skylight sits to the bow and shares a spacious en-suite and shower with a port-side bunk berth. A full-beam master stateroom with a king-sized bed, bedside cabinets, and a semi-open, spa-style bathroom is located to aft and features six mullioned windows panels and mood lighting for a breezy feel.
Engine options range from standard 500HP Volvo Penta D9 shaft-drives to 1150HP Caterpillar C9 Acert diesels, with a pair of Penta D12 675EVC inboards also on the agenda. You can expect top speeds to hit 30 knots in favorable conditions, while at a 23-knot cruising speed you will enjoy a range of up to 390 nautical miles.
