The Bertram 570 Convertible is a 60-foot convertible sportfishing yacht that was produced by the Florida-based boat-building company Bertram Yachts between 2002 and 2008. A stylish vintage look with super-fine lines, sharp edges, a stepped gunwale to transom and a sleek, sloping presence on the water is bound to turn heads as you glide into the marina. A deep-V hull optimized for rugged bluewater cruising, meanwhile, is paired with heavy-duty fish-fighting amenities and the option for families to take it easy across the vessel’s sedate and lavish interiors.
Available with an optional tuna tower, you can also enjoy elevated and commanding views from up on the flybridge. This space is sheltered by a floating hard-top and features a U-shaped lounge sofa ahead of the helm that is lined in marine-grade upholstery and wrapped around a bespoke cocktail table. Behind this there are a pair of Murray helm chairs crafted from teak, leather and steel facing a modern helm station with Mitsubishi ARG stabilizer switches, hydraulic steering, bow thruster controls, Garmin electronics, Furuno radar, autopilot and hand-held VHF radio.
Head down into the capacious aft-cockpit to discover a fish-focused space worthy of any tournament setting. Back here there is a transom livewell, a tuna-sized in-sole fish-box, flush rod holders in the gunwale, elevated rocket launchers, a fighting chair, Glendinning Cablemasters, a transom lift-gate, optional outriggers, wash down hoses and a tackle center with an ice-chipper, a sink and extra chilled storage.
Stately relaxation is the theme as you step indoors via a glazed door, and in here you will encounter tear-drop side glazing, satin-finished cherry woodwork throughout, lavish carpeting, rounded, hand-crafted cabinets and an entertainment center. There is an L-shaped leather sofa to port that has been paired with a bespoke coffee table, while further forward there is a dining sofa that hugs a large dining table with room for the whole family to enjoy memorable meals. A walk-in galley on this level impresses with granite-effect countertops, a timber sole, a multi-zone hob, under-counter Sub-Zero fridge-freezer units, a combination oven and a stainless steel sink.
On the lower deck there is sleeping space for up to six overnight guests across a trio of roomy cabins, each coming with its own en-suite facilities and a shower cubicle. A twin cabin to aft features bedside cabinets, while a master stateroom to port boasts a timber-lined, full-height closet. The stateroom to the bow, meanwhile, includes room for a queen-sized island bed and a pair of full-height lockers, along with a skylight for natural light.
The Bertram 570 Convertible is powered by a pair of 1300HP MAN diesel engines as standard with top speeds of up to 36 knots. If you wish for a burst of extra energy then opt for the twin-set of 1500HP Caterpillar or MTU 12V M91 diesel inboards for top speeds upwards of 40 knots and cruising speeds of around 34 knots. A fuel capacity of 1585 gallons will keep you out on the water for days as you search for that record-breaking catch, while the lightweight and durable planing hull has been crafted from reinforced fiberglass for a secure and dry ride.
