The Benetti Vision 145 is a 145-foot luxury superyacht across four levels produced by legendary Italian yacht-building firm Benetti between 2009 and 2017. With looks inspired by the golden age of yachting, including a navy hull livery with a red bootstripe, a curved superstructure with architectural flares, soft lines and tinted, wrap-around windows, this has to be one of the most elegant vessels on the market today. Interiors, too, present a classical theme, with plenty of rich woods, curved sofas and plush furnishings, making this a sophisticated on-the-water retreat.
A towering, teak-lined flybridge is partially covered by a floating hard-top to shield guests at a ten-seater dining table, or working to prepare drinks and food at the wet bar, from the worst of the midday sun. Those working on their tan, however, are more likely to be found on the forward sofa with coffee tables, to aft at the full-beam, casbah-style sunpad, or sipping champagne in the rear spa-pool jacuzzi. You will also enjoy the elements on the upper-deck, too, where an al-fresco terrace to aft features a large transom sofa and curved, sliding glass doors that lead into a circular dining room with a Lazy-Susan table and bespoke seats for up to ten diners. Ahead of this is a sedate upper lounge with a pair of sofas, a cognac bar, a work-desk and a home entertainment system. Across the front portion of the upper deck there is a private quarters for busy captains as well as a climate-controlled wheelhouse where pilots can get to work without distraction. Featuring dark woods, a subdued vibe and great visibility, this space boasts a next-generation helm with an array of digital Furuno screens, thruster controls and stabilizer switches for added comfort and safety.
A shaded aft cockpit on the main-deck features a transom lounge and side-steps down to a full-beam bathing platform ideal for the more active, while a transom garage down here can host up to four large jet-tenders. The main deck salon is a symphony of sophisticated and sumptuous materials, with cherry surrounds and burr madrona highlights contrasting against sycamore panels, embossed leather walls, plenty of Italian marble and widescreen glazing. Along with a walk-in wet bar inspired by Art Deco cocktail haunts there is room for four comfortable sofas, a set of armchairs and a plethora of tables. A bulkhead separates this room from a central atrium with a spiral staircase, lined entirely in timber, as well as a private galley. At the front of the main deck you will encounter a full-beam owner’s stateroom with a private lobby, office space, a separate lounge, a walk-in dressing room, curved forward glazing, two sofas, a king-sized bed and an en-suite with a standalone tub, pale marble surrounds and a pair of sinks. This room also has access to a secluded outdoor lounge up by the bow featuring a sunpad and a twin sofa hugging a cocktail table, far away from prying eyes.
Four more en-suite staterooms are to be found on the lower-deck, with each cabin boasting generous proportions, triple oversized portholes, mood lighting, mirrored panels, queen-sized beds and bathrooms lined in rich timber with black marble soles and shower cubicles lined in Venetian mosaic tile. There is also a crew quarters to the bow for up to eight with its own facilities and dinette lounge.
Twin 1300HP Caterpillar C32 Acert shaft-drive diesel engines power this yacht to impressive top speeds of around 15 knots, while at a 14-knot cruising pace you can expect an oceanic range of 3,500 nautical miles.
