The Benetti Crystal 140 is a 137-foot luxury motor yacht that was produced by the iconic Italian yacht-building brand Benetti Yachts between the years of 2013 and 2018. A stylish tri-deck vessel designed by industry legend Stefano Righini, this unashamedly modern yacht boasts sleek lines, wrap-around glazing, an assertive profile, plenty of curves and architectural flares for a genuinely 21st century look. Cool living spaces crafted by Francois Zuretti, meanwhile, alternate between slick Ibiza-style sun terraces and a more sedate and classical interior with an emphasis on elegance and comfort.
Plenty of seating lined in striking white marine-grade upholstery or leather up on the flybridge catches the best of the sun and makes guests feel like they are on the purest Bahaman sands. A set of modular sunpads to the rear surround a jacuzzi spa-pool, joined by a set of sun-loungers, a sofa and a timber-topped dining table. At the front of the bridge there is a wide, U-shaped sofa with a pair of coffee tables, just ahead of a marble-topped wet-bar station with bar stools, an ice-chipper, an outdoor grill and masses of chilled storage. On the upper deck there is another rear sun-terrace with a minimalist design appeal, along with a secluded foredeck lounge comprised of a C-shaped conversation sofa and a four-pad daybed with marina-facing views. Entering the upper deck lounge via a set of sliding glass doors you will discover an aft-dining room with a 12-seater table, as well as a plush upper salon with decadent leather-lined sofas and armchairs. A captain’s quarters and service area are joined by an enclosed wheelhouse across the front of this level, where experienced pilots will enjoy navigating this craft with the help of Naiad stabilizers, thruster controls, digital display screens and all the latest tech including a proprietary BEST monitoring system.
A sheltered, teak-lined aft cockpit on the main deck comes with a transom sofa, while side steps lead down to not only a hydraulic swimming platform but a water-side beach-club with bar facilities. A side-entry garage just ahead of this boasts room for a private watercraft and two jet-tenders. The main deck salon features a walk-in wet bar, up to four sofas, two occasional tables and an extensive galley perfect for preparing multi-course banquets. Design schemes are subject to customization, but early hulls featured marble surfaces, lacquered mahogany surrounds, dark exotic hardwood accents, mood lighting, glass-topped tables, plush fabrics, leather paneling, lattice screens and floor-to-ceiling glazing. At the front of the main deck there is a full-beam owner’s stateroom with a king-sized bed, sofas, a private office, a walk-in dressing room and a capacious bathroom lined in granite and timber with mirrored walls, a pair of sinks and a walk-in wet-room shower.
Across the lower deck you will find four en-suite staterooms with plenty of space, timber-lined storage and queen-sized or twin beds, while at the front of this level there is an entirely private crew quarters for up to seven members of staff.
Powered by a pair of 1450HP Caterpillar C32 Acert diesel engines, you can expect a top speed of 15 knots and smooth cruising at a pace of 14 knots. Drive this powerful vessel at an economy cruise of 11 knots and you will enjoy a range of 4,000 nautical miles, making this the perfect option for families looking to spend weeks on end island-hopping around the Mediterranean.
