The Benetti Classic 121 is a 121-foot luxury superyacht that was produced by renowned Italian yacht-building firm Benetti between 2012 and 2018. A collaborative effort between naval stylist Stefano Righini and interior designer Francois Zuretti, this is the sort of yacht people tend to swoon over. Sleek, swooping lines, an ultra-fine entry, curved flares, tinted glazing, and a striking white gelcoat give this yacht an assertive look, while clean and contemporary interiors present a restrained and elegant atmosphere ideal for the live-aboard adventurer.
Lined in teak and sitting underneath a floating hard-top, this yacht’s flybridge includes enough space for a forward sunpad that surrounds an oversized jacuzzi spa-pool. You will also find a set of rear sun-loungers up here, along with a formal outdoor dining table where you will enjoy lavish meals prepared at the port-side al-fresco galley with a grill and ice-chipper. Yet more sun-kissed space is to be discovered one level down, on an upper deck with a vast sun terrace to the rear where side sofas, bar facilities and a table are joined by a foredeck lounge with sunpad seating for up to six and a pair of curved sofas. A sedate upper lounge boasts climate control, pale oak surrounds, leather wall paneling and plenty of plush seating, while ahead of this is a captain’s quarter and an enclosed wheelhouse with excellent visibility, four touch-screen monitors and the latest in navigational tech.
Enjoy aperitifs on a transom sofa in the main deck aft cockpit, where side steps lead down to an extending swim platform from where guests will enjoy warm-water bathing. A vast transom garage down here has room for not only the market’s largest jet-tenders but also a pair of jet-skis. Curved sliding glass doors framed by stainless steel edges open up to lead into a lavish main deck salon, where you will encounter high-gloss exotic wood walls, brushed fiberglass ceilings with mood lighting, glass-encased cabinets, a set of leather sofas, bespoke coffee tables and hand-woven rugs. Cinema-screen glazing will allow plenty of light to flood into this room, while a dining room further forward is surrounded by a pair of sliding glazed doors out to the broad side-decks. There is a galley and service area further forward, before you get to a full-beam owner’s stateroom with a walk-in dressing room, a work lobby, sofas, glazing on three sides, a king-sized bed and a beautiful bathroom lined in stone and oak with a tub and a waterfall shower.
Eight more guests will enjoy peaceful rest on the lower deck, where four en-suite double or twin staterooms benefit from timber-lined closets, spacious bathrooms and a light and airy feel. A crew quarters for up to seven sits by the bow and comes with its own separate galley facilities.
Powered by a pair of 1600HP Caterpillar C32 ACERT 12V or MTU 2000 M72 diesel engines, you can expect top speeds to breach the 15-knot barrier, while consistent cruising speeds clock in at around 13 knots. Ride this beautiful performer over oceanic blue waters for over 3,400 nautical miles at an economy cruise of 11 knots, and delight in the seaworthiness of this vessel’s resin-infused fiberglass hull.
