The Benetti B.Now 50M is a 163-foot superyacht that was launched by the iconic Italian yacht-building firm Benetti in 2021. A shimmering metallic livery with futuristic curves and a profile not unlike a stealth-fighter jet signal that this is no ordinary yacht. The flybridge on this model is covered by a hard top with cresting wave glazing on two sides, with open areas to the front and rear. Across the center of the bridge are a pair of sprawling L-shaped sofas with coffee tables and stylish ottomans, while you will also find plentiful wet bar facilities.
The upper deck also boasts magnificent al-fresco spaces, including a decadent foredeck lounge with a trio of sofas and a sunpad, while to the rear there is a sun terrace with a dining table, L-shaped sofas, a dual barbecue grill for heavy duty outdoor cooking and a stand-alone wet-bar with bar stools and a counter with gold accents. An enclosed upper lounge on this level boasts a restrained and sophisticated allure, and offers guests the chance to sit at a poker table, rest on a sofa and prepare drinks at a walk-in cognac bar. Up front there is an enclosed wheelhouse lined in dark wood with sensational visibility and the latest in navigational tech.
Down on the main deck you will delight in a mammoth aft cockpit lined in teak with sofas galore, bar facilities and the opportunity for outdoor meals. An Oasis beach-club to aft, meanwhile, offers additional sunpads, fold-out cocktail terraces, a full-beam bathing platform with a hydraulic step and an infinity pool to transom. This has to be one of the most luxurious and spacious beach clubs on the market today, not to mention one of the most stylish.
It seems like every inch of this yacht’s interior has been thoughtfully designed with deluxe materials. Enjoy pale timber, frise maple, smoked oak and ivory leather surfaces; behold stark and minimalist concrete accents, polished steel fixtures and veined marble tables; appreciate geometric motifs, strip lighting and satin-finished palladium recesses; or admire a never-ending set of bespoke artworks with nautical themes peppered throughout. A sedate lounge is joined by a formal dining room for up to 12, while a bulkhead hides a spacious galley and service area to port. The front portion of the main-deck is occupied by a full-beam owner’s stateroom. This palatial cabin features an entry-lobby with work-desk, a breakfast terrace built into the hull-sides, a walk-in dressing room, lounge spaces, dramatic glazing, a king-sized bed and an opulent en-suite with a bathtub and a waterfall shower.
There are plenty of surprises on the lower-deck, where a huge crew quarters to the bow is joined by four en-suite double staterooms with generous dimensions, king-sized beds, timber-lined closets and an unrivalled sense of panache. To aft there is a lower-lounge space that connects to the Oasis beach-club, featuring head facilities, a gym, a cinema room and a fold-out terrace built into the hull-sides. In an innovative move, Benetti decided to locate this yacht’s tender garage below the foredeck, and, complete with davit and lift system, this cavernous storage space has room for the market’s largest water toys.
Powered by twin 1400HP MAN diesel engines, you can expect a top speed of 15 knots and at an economy cruising pace of 10 knots you will enjoy a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles. Stabilizers are on hand to promote comfort, balance and safety, while this yacht also features an innovative E.Mode electric auxiliary system for eco-friendly cruising.
