The Benetti B.Now 72M is a 236-foot luxury megayacht set to be launched by celebrated Italian yacht-building firm Benetti in 2023. Crafted by naval stylists RWD, this is a stunning achievement even for a builder like Benetti, and looks set to impress with super-sleek and ultra-modern looks, an ocean-going steel hull and five levels of deluxe living space with an opulent, freeflowing and palatial feel.
Crowned by a dizzyingly high, teak-lined flybridge with a hard-top roof, you will enjoy lounging across sunpads, mixing drinks at a marble-lined wet bar and relaxing in a forward jacuzzi spa-pool up here. One level down you will find a glorious sun terrace to aft with glazed rear walls, a pair of curved sofas and dining options at a timber-lined table. Heading inside you will discover a sedate upper-lounge ideal for late-night drinks, while further forward there is a captain’s quarters and an enclosed, climate-controlled wheelhouse with all of the latest navigational equipment and commanding views.
A sheltered aft-lounge on the upper deck is joined by a secluded foredeck lounge with sunpads and sofas, while also available on this level is a dining lounge with two decadent wet-bars and a pantry for convenient food service. At the front of this level is one of the largest owner’s staterooms ever released on the market. A private lobby welcomes you to this lavish suite, where you will discover a private office, two walk-in dressing rooms, a pair of bathrooms lined in marble and oak with gold-leaf fixtures, and a spacious sleeping quarters with a king-sized bed, a pair of sofas, a vanity station and curved, sliding glass doors out to the foredeck terrace.
Most guests lucky enough to step aboard this exquisite vessel, however, will gravitate to the Oasis beach-club to the aft of the main deck. This al fresco, split-level entertainment space is lined in teak and comes with marble-encrusted bar facilities, a bespoke dining table, a pair of transom sofas and an infinity plunge pool dramatically positioned to stern. Expansive relaxation space just above the water-level is radically expanded thanks to two fold-out bulwarks that transform into floating cocktail terraces, while at the stern there is a hydraulic bathing platform where you can set off on saltwater swimming adventures or simply sip champagne as the water laps against your feet. A transom door then opens up to lead you into a private lower lounge with room for a gym. Interior arrangements are subject to customization, but the main deck lounge looks set to feature warm timber surrounds, authentic Italian marble, bronze-effect finishes, white leather surfaces, cinema-screen glazing, a restrained appeal and lavish furnishings. Further forward there is room for up to seven en-suite staterooms for up to 14 overnight guests, with cabins boasting plenty of storage and luxury bathrooms.
On the lower deck you will find two side-entry tender garages capable of hosting a large personal watercraft, jet-skis and a pair of tenders, while a vast crew quarters comes with industrial-sized storage and galley facilities, ideal for keeping you well-stocked during long-haul trips.
A set of diesel mechanical engines look set to give this powerful vessel a top speed of up to 16 knots and a cruising speed of 13.5 knots. Ride this beauty at an economy cruise of just 12 knots, however, and you will enjoy a 5,000 nautical mile cruising range, while an efficient E.Mode hybrid system is on hand for eco-friendly yachting.
