Aft Cockpit Area

Boarding on the Tiara Yachts 43 LE is accomplished by many convenient and safe ways. Either through the starboard side boarding door, the large integrated swim platform extensions around the engines, or stepping on the large gunwale with integrated steps and grab bars.

The transom features a hot/cold pull-out shower, a Telescopic boarding ladder on the port side swim extension, the starboard boarding doors feature a removable swimming ladder, as well as the port side Terrace, which folds towards the water and has an additional bracket for the removable swim ladder.

One of the 43 LE’s main focal points is the massive rotating aft lounge which incorporates Lounge Seating with footrests, plenty of cupholders, armrests, a Removable Teak Table, a Countertop with an Electric Grill, and a large integrated storage compartment below the countertop, plus you can open the entire aft compartment for larger items. 

The one-touch Make fast Electric Sunshade when deployed provides plenty of coverage for the cockpit.

Facing Aft are two large Lounge Seats which are under the large hardtop. The port side seat has insulated storage below, and the starboard seat features an insulated refrigerated cooler box. 

Mid Cockpit

Stepping up to the mid cockpit you enter through the cockpit retractable enclosure which easily rolls up into the port and starboard sides. This is a nice feature to use on colder days, keep in the A/C, or to block out mechanical noise. When opened the enclosure takes up no space and on the port side features a solid surface counter with sink, storage drawer, and 120V/12V Dual Voltage Drawer Refrigerator. The starboard side has a solid surface counter, storage drawer, and a second Drawer Refrigerator.

There is a push-button control behind the companion seat which activates the drop-down TV from the hardtop which is on the starboard side right behind the helm seat.

The Double Wide Helm and Companion Seats in addition to facing forward, rotate to face sideways or angled aft. Both seats have to flip-up bolsters and armrests. Below the Companion, the seat is the upgraded feature with an icemaker, and below the helm are storage drawers. 

Helm/Companion Features

The visibility from the helm of the 43 LE is amazing. The integrated full beam hardtop and custom tempered cured windshield limit obstructions and increases your visibility to spot other vessels or even crab traps. Both the helm and companion sides have sliding glass windows, and above is a bowmar hatch for additional ventilation.

The Helm features twin Garmin 16-inch displays fully integrated to show your Yamaha engine data and fuel levels for the engines and diesel generator. The helm has push-button switches, charging ports, and drink holders and the entire helm is one piece that tilts to easily access behind the displays and controls if needed for maintenance or emergency. The helm has an upgraded wood steering wheel, Yamaha Helm Master Binnacle and Joystick, and bow thruster control. The Garmin 315 VHF is mounted on the port side of the helm console.

Above the helm, there is an additional Garmin CL7 used primarily to integrate the Yamaha’s, but it is also a fully functional GPS and a great backup unit. Next to the Garmin CL7 is the main control unit for the Garmin Auto Pilot which is integrated into the 16-inch displays.

The companion seat forward features the Fusion Apollo Head Unit and Seakeeper unit. There is a glovebox and on top of the console an additional large storage compartment.

Interior Features

The cabin of the 43 LE is accessible via the tinted acrylic door. Tiara Yachts is known for its larger yachts with custom woodwork and the 43 LE is no different. You walk down-solid teak steps and flooring. The access hatches in the floor even follow the same wood grain. The interior has additional teak and driftwood accents throughout. The hullside windows make the cabin feel bright and spacious. There is a hanging locker to port along with a microwave and storage. Forward is a Queen size berth and TV with access to the main panel behind the TV. 

The mid-cabin features a private door and a full-size mattress, a full-length settee, and a hull side window with a portlight. 

The Private Head features a vanity with sink, a Vacuflush toilet, and a separate shower stall with a glass door.

Foredeck Features

Walking on either side of the gunwale to the foredeck has plenty of width and handholds on the hardtop with a high stainless steel bow rail that runs aft on port and starboard sides. The foredeck features a recessed chaise lounge sunpad with handholds and drink holders. The integrated through stem stainless steel anchor with the roller, 8-inch cleat, handheld windlass remote control mounted in the anchor locker and there is a freshwater washdown.
