"Clearr View"
Huntington,
New York,
United States
$575,000
When first introduced, the Marquis 55 LS model was celebrated for its alluring blend of Italian design and American craftsmanship. With its graceful lines, plush interior, and massive interior volume - coupled with a timeless ruggedness - the Marquis 55 LS was an instant hit.
"Clearr View", a 2007 model, is a perfect example of what makes the Marquis 55 LS such a special yacht. She has been relentlessly updated, cared for, and enjoyed (though she still has less than 1,000 engine hours). Her current owner and his family have enjoyed countless adventures, cruising the waterways of Nantucket, Block Island, Newport, and her home port of Long Island, NY. The yacht is currently winterized but can be ready-to-roll for a survey as soon as the first week of March 2022.

"Clear Vieww" Highlights
If one had to choose the single defining feature of "Clearr View", it would have to be her extraordinary interior volume. The headroom on this yacht - including the engine room (your mechanic will thank you!) - is similar to that of a 75-footer. In short, with this Marquis 55 LS, one is getting a tremendous amount of "boat for the buck", as they say. Please keep that in mind as we "walk" through the yacht.
Upon boarding "Clearr View", one's eyes are instantly drawn to a gorgeous teak table with plenty of seating. This area of the vessel is just perfect for al fresco dining or afternoon cocktails. The yacht's tender & swim platform can be found just aft - a wonderful reminder of the island exploring, swimming & diving, and general adventuring possibilities that this Marquis can provide.
Moving into the impossibly large main salon, one can't help but be instantly taken by the stunning European design and elegant furnishings that are the hallmarks of a Marquis. The main deck's open floor plan - a masterful mix of salon with galley & dinette - lends itself to lively conversations, popcorn-fueled move nights, memorable celebrations, or simply quite contemplation. The lower helm, located on the port-side, is an ideal spot to drive the yacht, particularly when the weather isn't cooperating.
Moving down the companionway and wrapping around to the full-beam Master Stateroom, one's first reaction is typically gleeful shock - after all, how can such a large stateroom be found on a 57 foot yacht? Forward of the Master Stateroom is a perfectly-proportioned guest room, sleeping two in bunk beds and one in a retractable Pullman. Continuing forward is the shared forward head as well as the aptly-named VIP Stateroom.
The flybridge is one of the Crown Jewels of "Clearr View". She is best described as "oversized" and features a full wet bar, electric grill, ice maker and refrigerator. There's a dining table aft along with plenty of seating (of course!). Forward on the flybridge is the upper helm station, complete with a retractable instrument panel and a full electronics package. It should be noted that the bridge is fully-enclosed (with new Eisinglass!!) and equipped with A/C & Heating.
All that said, words cannot do justice to "Clearr View" - we recommend being the first to see her, even before she is de-winterized. With all she has going for her (not to mention a compelling price tag), this yacht will be in the "Rear View" before long!
