2007 Mainship 400 Trawler
ADRIFT is an excellent example of the sought after Mainship 400 Trawler. Mainship trawlers are one of the most popular boats for the Great Loop. ADRIFT has the preferred single 440 HP Yanmar engine with both bow and stern thrusters. This makes her very economical, easy to handle with a good turn of speed when necessary. She’s a comfortable two cabin layout, with a single Head (with its own enclosed shower) for the cruising couple with occasional guests. The Salon and Galley are very comfortable, spacious, and inviting. Emphasis on safety with the wide, covered, walk-around side decks, and large cockpit. There is great visibility from both the lower Helm and the Flybridge. This boat with Bow and Stern Thrusters is the docking and line handlers dream. The Flybridge with its forward helm and ample seating for eight to ten, along with a built-in “Summer Kitchen”, gives the feel of a much larger boat.
Highlights: Yanmar 440, Bow and Stern Thrusters, Flybridge Summer Kitchen, Complete Garmin Electronics, Kohler 8Kw Generator, larger aluminum fuel tanks (almost 20% more fuel capacity). She is in Excellent condition ready to cruise.
There is plenty of room for seating and relaxing on the Flybridge. There is even a Summer Kitchen option providing a grill, sink, and ice maker aft of the centerline Helm. Wide molded stairs to the Flybridge offer safe and secure footing to the covered Aft Deck Cockpit. Going forward, there are wide, lighted, and recessed walkways with overhead protection leading to the Foredeck. A stainless steel Sampson post and dual roller pulpit are perfect for setting the anchor, and the optional electric windlass makes retrieval a snap. All rails, hatches, and portlights are now fashioned from 316L stainless steel for easy maintenance and great looks. Featuring beautiful teak wood interiors. All cabinets, drawers, and tables are solid teak and the teak and holly sole is very traditional, as well as serviceable. The extended Salon features two leather recliners, teak and holly sole, and LCD flat-screen TV. A starboard side Galley offers a full size, dual voltage refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and a 3-burner range and oven. Special attention has been given to general and dishware storage and the location for an under counter trash receptacle. To port of the lower Helm Station is a full Dinette that seats four with a comfortable bench and two chairs. Forward, is a Master Stateroom with a centerline inner spring queen berth and plenty of hanging, drawer, and locker storage. A second Guest Stateroom offers two single berths and an optional innovative desk arrangement, and the Head, with a separate Stall Enclosed Shower, is accessible from the Master Stateroom or the center Companionway.
Easily board from either side of the hard covered cockpit, or walkthrough transom door. The Cockpit area has a large lazarette, built-in storage locker, and molded fiberglass stairs to the Flybridge. The covered walkways with nonskid both port and starboard allow easy access to the Foredeck, with stainless steel rails and stanchions for support throughout. Enter the cabin through glass French-style doors aft. Into the main cabin space with teak and holly sole and three large opening windows with screens. Salon to port with two leather reclining chairs and raised dinette seating area. L-Shaped galley to starboard with Nova Kool AC/DC refrigerator/freezer, Princess 3-Burner electric range and oven, dual stainless steel sink with nickel retractable spout, Corian counter tops, Tappan microwave, built-in glass rack, surrounded by lockers and drawers for storage.
Forward of Galley, to starboard, is the Lower Helm with additional sliding door to starboard walkway. Down three steps forward-center to Companionway with Teak and Holly sole. Guest stateroom to port with Head and Shower to starboard, and Master Stateroom with island berth forward.
The Guest stateroom port has two single berths (with filler cushion to make one berth), hanging locker, two storage lockers, hanging rack, opening portlight with screen, and opening overhead hatch with screen.
Across the companionway, to starboard, is the Head with built-in stainless sink, enclosed Stall Shower, three storage compartments, opening portlight with screen, and opening overhead hatch with retractable screen or privacy shade.
Forward into the bow is the Master Stateroom with center-line queen island berth, storage lockers to port, hanging locker to starboard, en-suite Head access, two deep storage drawers under berth, two side portlights with screens, and opening overhead hatch with sliding screen and privacy screen.
Back into Cockpit - Up the molded staircase aft to the Flybridge with folding mast, stow-able cocktail table, wet-bar with built-in Jenn-Air electric grill, large L-Shaped settee to port, with L-Shaped settee to starboard, folding table center, Pompanette captain's chair forward, and additional mate's seats facing forward, on both port and starboard sides of the helm. The full Bimini top make it a great space to hangout with family and friends.
