"MAXMARA"
Palma de Mallorca,
Spain
$1,182,675
Maxmara is a perfect sized trawler either for an owner who likes to travel on his own with family or with small crew.
After undergoing a massive refit in 2018 with total investment of 500k, the yacht received some major upgrades such as a complete new hydraulic bathing platform ( H+B technics ) that totally changed the arrangement of the yacht. The platform is perfectly integrated into the aft structure of the yacht and allows to carry a total of 1.000 Kg. The 4.25m Jet Tender that previously was stored on the flybridge now lies on the bathing platform, making it easier and faster to launch. The aft refit included as well a complete new Besenzoni passarelle, a swimming ladder and as a great feature, a new shower unit integrated in the hull, to be used after having a swim or sunbathe on the new swimming platform.
Moving the tender to the aft and removing the tender lifting crane / davit, gave the flybridge a complete new and open arrangement. An additional sunbathing and storage unit was created on the back end of the deck. This open design, together with the wide beam of the boat, leads to an amazing huge deck size that is very unusual for this size of boat.
Every single technical feature onboard was reworked during the refit, starting from pumps, air conditioning unit, new bar equipment on fly deck such as fridge, ice maker, grill & many more.
Maxmara comes with an elegant approach due to her new, maritime blue AWL grip hull painting and a white superstructure paint. The whole upholstery of the boat was renewed in maritime blue as well to match the new hull color. Her bow arrangement has a Portuguese bridge with an additional sunbathing/sitting area in front of the bridge with teak railing all around the bow sides and aft of the yacht finished with a 12 layer varnish.
The wide beam of this yacht gives her stability as well as enough deck space to avoid feeling any restrictions by movement, this together with the fitting of her zero speed stabilizers takes comfort at sea to another level.
During her refit she also received a full sun cover / bimini on the fly deck that can be opened in different segments.
Maxmara´s interior follows a very elegant and teak based design line. the painted teak floor and wall panels got an upgrade by design with new Alcantara leather-covered wall panels on certain parts of the salon and towards the kitchen and bridge area. It gives you immediately the feeling of a warm and cosy, home-like ambience with a touch of maritime on famous gentleman yachts back in the old days.
Each cabin offers raised ceilings to not feel restricted by space. The Master bedroom boosts an en-suite bathroom with a huge shower unit as well a perfectly arranged walk-in wardrobe.
New upgraded Hifi & Wifi system and modern TV screens in salon and master cabin.
February 2020 maintenance period - 2 new water heaters installed and new antifouling.
