1999 Grand Banks Europa Trawler “Trawler Trash”
“Trawler Trash” has spent most of its life in a covered slip in freshwater in Madisonville, LA and it shows! The current owner immediately put the boat to use along the Gulf Coast after purchasing in 2020 including a recent trip to the Bahamas before settling in Miami, FL to be sold. The Grand Banks Europa model has become my personal favorite due to its excellent sea handling abilities, stylish good looks, and walkaround-covered side decks and cockpit for ease of docking or enjoyment in any weather! Gorgeous interior woodwork, freshly varnished exterior handrails, teak decks and teak in the engine room gives this vessel a classic and timeless look for the discerning yachtsman. CAT diesels have under 1,000 hours and run great!
Showings by appointment only.
A list of recent updates, upgrades and service items from 2020, 2021, and 2022 are found below:
“Trawler Trash” has ample seating throughout the bridge and salon for guests and large windows for 360 degree views while parquet flooring, high quality hardwood joinery, ample storage and modern warm tone LED lighting throughout the vessel make for an exceptionally inviting interior that can be enjoyed for extended cruises or a weekend away from the world. Three 16,000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioners keep interior spaces comfortable no matter the weather. Galley up across from lower helm makes excellent use of interior space and functionality. Down three steps to companionway with guest stateroom to port, head to starboard and master stateroom forward. Staterooms feature excellent storage, reading lights, electrical outlets, portholes and hatches to the bow.
