"MAGGIE ANN"
Port Clyde,
Maine,
United States
$195,000
"Without a doubt, the adventurous 38 Eastbay Express fast cruiser made a "big splash" in terms of style, performance and a quiet ride. Of course, its featured "top-up or top-down" design was a major plus when it came to comfortable, all-weather cruising--an attribute that was highly prized by many Eastbay owner's.... Overall, a solid, long-term investment for those who desired both speed and comfort." ~ Grand Banks
Maggie~Ann is a rare find. Her upkeep and maintenance are well above average, and her owners have not spared any money in keeping her in well above average condition. Recent upgrades include 2000 hour service (records available), new Axiom 22 multifunction display, new batteries... This yacht is gorgeous and will not last long on the market in her condition and this price.
The varnished toe rail highlights its traditional lines while the wide, non-skid side decks and sturdy stainless steel grab rails provided for additional "fast ride" security. You find a thoughtfully well organized station located on the raised helm deck that provided for superb visibility. Accessing the engine room was a breeze with the assistance of the electro-hydraulic hatch.
To port, a well-equipped galley as well as generous storage and counter space make onboard living a pleasant cruising experience.
Across from the galley is a dining/salon area that featured a handsomely crafted teak table surrounded on three sides by a comfortable settee. The table can be lowered to create a double berth for overnight guests.
The forward stateroom, V-berth style bed with a custom insert to enlarge the bed.
The wrap around galley is located to port of the companionway steps with storage above and below the work surface.
