As of January 2022, there are currently 541 convertible sport fishing boats on the brokerage market in the United States ranging in price from $100,000, to nearly $10 million for some of the larger Vikings, and several under $5 million if slightly older. The two most popular production sportfishing brands are Viking and Hatteras Yachts, although Viking has produced more models and more units sold in the last decade.

Custom boat builders like Buddy Davis, Jarrett Bay, Merritt, and Rybovich are examples of popular convertible brands. Custom boats can be found on the brokerage market or ordered new through the builder, although it often takes years to see the boat.
