How To Apply For The Scholarship

Thank for visiting where we will explain how to win the yearly $2,000 scholarship. Each year, SI Yachts will give a $2,000 scholarship to one student who displays the work ethic and professionalism that we want to encourage. To apply, you MUST be a student at a college or university and there must be a letter of recommendation from a professor or faculty member of your school.

All applicants must meet a certain criteria outlined below. Applications must be submitted via email to All applications must be submitted by 12/31/2020. One applicant will be chosen by a panel from based on a variety of factors including GPA, community service, recommendation letter, and discretion of the panel.

Criteria for applying:

  • Must be enrolled in at least of 6 hours undergraduate courses or 3 hours graduate at an accredited University.
  • Must have taken at least 40 undergraduate credit hours or 10 graduate credit hours.
  • Must have proof of a declared major.
  • Must demonstrate volunteer work on campus or in the community of attended University or College.
  • Must attach one letter of recommendation on official letterhead from a professor or University faculty member.
  • You must be currently enrolled at your college or university during the time of submission.
  • You must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
