The 357 LXF is an exceptional 35-foot luxury center console that was first introduced by South Carolina builder Scout Boats in 2024. A member of the brand’s exclusive S-Class, the 357 is a fishing machine that stands out for its sheer opulence. A rare union of unmatched comfort and wicked performance, this boat is versatile enough to exceed the expectations as a day cruiser and a fishing boat. Thanks to an innovative epoxy infusion construction and impressive Scout stepped hull technology, the 357 is an outstanding model that is sure to deliver many memorable days out on the water.
From the model’s heated helm seats to its ultra-smooth upholstery in chic, creamy colors, the 357 LXF is perfect for entertaining guests in style. This is especially noticeable at the bow, which features sunlounge (with optional electric sun shade) perfect for couples and a U-shaped settee with an electric dinette that converts into a casting platform or sundeck at the push of a button.
The boat earns its fishing chops with a 47-gallon cockpit baitwell, two 43-gallon in-deck fishboxes, 10 gunwale rod-holders, and a starboard leaning post, in addition to a raw/fresh water washdown with a 25.galon tank. Optional Taco outriggers and hardtop rocket launchers are also on offer for die-hard anglers. Owners can also opt for a Seakeeper 3 DC gyrostabilizer for an even smoother ride.
Three heated captain’s chairs at the helm, each with a flip-up bolster, highlight Scout’s serious approach to luxury and performance. The center helm features an Edson steering wheel, Garmin 8612 display, radar, VHF radio, and a choice of four optional transducers. A patented forward facing anchor camera allows operators to see exactly what’s in front of the bow from the touchscreens at the helm, a select feature that greatly enhances safety.
Below deck is an airy, streamlined cabin with a double berth that converts into a U-shaped settee. Guests are greeted by stylish cabinetry with an integrated drawer refrigerator, discreet vessel sink, and storage. A head is also situated nearby. A 19-inch television with JL speakers it built into a bulkhead above the berth, making smart use of space. Clever design choices – like fitting the forward settee to the natural contours of the boat – ensure the cabin never feels cluttered or cramped. Two windows to port and starboard also open up the space, imparting the kind of free and easy atmosphere many boaters only dream of.
Scout offers a wide range of outboard power options, from dual Yamaha XF450s to triple Mercury 400 V10 S Verados, which can gain speeds above 72MPH at full throttle. However, the 357, which boasts a 319-gallon fuel capacity, is at its best when cruising at 43MPH and 37.9GPH.
