SUMMARY

The new Princess V55 is a striking express cruiser with powerful lines, elegant style, and lower deck accommodations that will leave everyone on board feeling rejuvenated. The latest model in the popular V-class series, the V55 has the traditional Princess look as well as performance. The standard twin Volvo D13 900HP power package on the Princess V55 results in a 34 to 36 knot speed range, while the upgraded D13 1,000HP option will add acceleration and an additional 1 to 2 knots. The efficient Volvo engines combined with the traditional V-shaped hull, and high-quality materials used in the construction process, result in a ride that is pleasant and comfortable.

It is very apparent looking at the design of the V55 that the goal of the Princess factory was to create an outdoor ambiance inside the main deck. There are seemingly no walls, except those made of glass, throughout the entire salon and helm. The electrically-controlled sunroof opens as does the aft cockpit door, so that the interior is filled with light and the sounds of your environment.

The forward deck features a wonderful seating area and loung space for sunbathing. A large sunpad is on the forward most area of the bow deck. A curved couch is behind it, closest to the windshield. This area is the most open space outside of the salon for those wanting to work on their tan.

From the hydraulic swim platform to the aft cockpit, the V55 utilizes its space well to cater to sunbathers and those seeking relaxation. Between the teak steps to the side decks is a tender garage with an electro-hydraulic door that opens to reveal a tender launch system for your convenience. Above the garage is a sunbed that extends the cockpit area almost beyond the transom swim platform.

The cockpit area is spacious and functional as an extension of the interior. It features a large L-shaped seat with a teak folding table for dining al fresco. There is a wet-bar with a drawer fridge and electric barbecue for outdoor grilling on the water. Waterproof speakers line the cockpit so the party on the V55 never stops until you want it to!

As you enter through the cockpit doors, the galley is placed starboard and the dining and sitting area are port side. The dining table has a U-shaped sofa behind it and is underneath the sunroof. This can create an amazing place to have dinner under the stars. The 49" LED TV raises and lowers with the push of a button and includes the incredibly advanced NAIM audio system. The galley has all of the appliances and storage space needed for cruising with guests. The stainless steel sink, 3-zone ceramic hub, fridge and freezer, and the microwave/convection oven with grill combination is all you need to serve up gourmet meals for you and your friends.

The interior helm station consists of two plush helm seats that are electrically controlled for your comfort. On the starboard side, electric windows open to let in the sea air. Electronics include full engine instrumentation, navigation system including GPS and Chartplotter, as well as controls for the bow thruster.

The accommodations on the Princess V55 include three comfortable staterooms, including a full-beam master suite placed midship. Each bedroom is very spacious and features hanging lockers, drawers under each bed, and a variety of other storage options. The master suite has a wardrobe in addition to the large double berth. Even with a sofa and dressing table, there is still an abundance of space to move around. The V55 really excels in its design on the lower deck.

The VIP suite is placed forward and also features a large double bed for the comfort of your guests. The en suite bathroom is private, but also has day access and there are plenty of storage spaces for clothes and essentials. Crew cabin is optional.
